I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

Hi!! I’m fairly new to trail running and slowly getting new gear. I usually try to go on one (or 2 if I have time) long run a week (about 1-2 hours). When I go normally I don’t really bring anything with me other than my doggo and some treats for her. 

I was looking into running vests and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I had no clue they were all so expensive first of all; but just want something I can carry water, preferably in a bladder, and some food so I can go on longer runs!

Hi I'm Dave Taylor fellow running guide and today I'm going to be talking about race vests or running backpacks. I'm going to be looking at packs in the 5 liter to 10 liter capacity range and I've got them laid out behind me. So let's have a look at the packs in question. This is the Camelbak Zephyr, got the Harrier Kerber, The Innovate Race Pro Two in one, The Salomon Sense Pro 10 got The Ultimate Direction Ultravest Vs5, the Om Ultra 8, The Montane Gecko Vp5, plus seven different packs from different manufacturers

 and then same again for this pocket here. Well, we've got that double entrance to it. Um, in this side, I've just got a buff down below that we've got this zip big zip to this pocket. Uh, and I've got a phone in there

 on this side. Exactly the same as we've got on that one. and then same again for this pocket here. Well, we've got that double entrance to it

 Plenty of space in that pocket to get a foam that disappears right the way in there, so that's good in terms of fastening and tensioning the front. It's a simple system which has got a length of elastic that goes through hoops on this side and attached on this side. It's got a little just a little toggle there. you squeeze and pull through to adjust so you can tension it and then just let the tension off

REVIEW 6/7 - Salomon Sense Pro 10L trail & ultra running pack / race vest (2021)

All of my local and online outlets are out of stock . Ultimate Direction updates in March usually, I have sworn off UD as I need more dependable gear . Ever  since they removed the real signature series with the athletes names (Jurek, PB etc) I swear the latest gear is not tested for running with a full heavy pack.

New Salomon Adv Skin models coming ? How often do they update.

If you can find it, the Salomon Sense 4 Pro is the best trail shoe I have personally tried. Fits like a glove, just the right amount of cushioning, and I feel like I can fly in them!

Hi all, it's looking like I'll be able to access a good price on Laspo or Salomon trail shoes. I'm 45M (85kg) and my trails are generally dry, rocky and about 60-90 minutes. Any recommendations? Thanks!

<p>EDIT: I narrowed it down to the Jackal and Sense Ride 3, but after checking out my wife&#39;s Peg Trail 2s, ended up ordering those.</p>

La Sportiva &amp; Salomon trail shoes

I am having an absolutely horrible time finding new shoes. Currently using Saucony Mad Rivers but they are at their end of their life. Altras feel to tight and low on my feet and hokas just feel to squishy to run on… I am a big fan of brooks but the cascadias are sold out everywhere.

What shoes are y’all currently wearing?

I am now running some trails in AZ, mostly the mountain trails that aren't paved. I am a fairly experienced road runner, I didn't mind hills before but I did prefer paved surfaces. I have been running in Brooks Launch exclusively for about 10 years now, and I really don't want to switch shoes but the foam portions of my running shoes are getting torn up pretty bad on the trails here. I don't think I need to go to a shoe that has the reinforcement plate, I don't run on trails that aggressive with sharp rocks. I am hoping there is someone here who has made a similar transition and can provide some guidance on shoe selection.

I do mostly run on road and sidewalks but this is my first year running so winter runs will be entirely new to me.

Is it a good idea to grab trail runners for the snow and ice covered sidewalks and side streets?

Watching videos on winter running and they usually go over clothing but never shoes, how frustrating

A few of mine:

- Nike Zoom Elite 8, absolutely loved this shoe back in the HS Track &amp; XC days. Was light, fast, and looked good too. 

- Saucony Zealot ISO, I only owned one pair of these but i remember absolutely loving them. Too bad i could never find another  when I used to wear them. 

- Brooks Pureflow, I remember how wacky these looked but they were amazing to run in. I remember everyone on my cross country team having them.

What’s your favorite shoe that got discontinued/changed into something completely different?

I recently got the Salomon Sense Ride 4 and been loving it! Super comfy and I wear it on longer hikes as well
