 But if you're watching like the news for example, or something that's, maybe low low key on tv they're, not so much. For that i mean i wouldn't say that i would recommend it if that's the type of moving experience that you usually take in. So if you're watching like the news, you know anything like that movies that have lots of talking documentaries. Possibly i don't know that i would recommend the samsung rear speaker kit for that

 Do you watch a lot of movies? Do you watch a lot of tv? Do you watch a lot of documentaries and the news? If so, then, that this speaker kit may not be what you need, because this sound bar does just fine on its own. Now, if you are a gamer, somebody who plays a lot of games - and you want to have that awesome - surround sound, feel sound behind you, then yeah. The rear speaker kit would definitely be something that you'd be interested in. Maybe if you're uh somebody watches a lot of movies, then yes, that would probably be something that you would want myself

 So if you are interested in this, i'm going to show you guys i'm going to put in some footage now of where i've unboxed this thing and got it set up, because the install process of this rear speaker kit is easy peasy. So let's go ahead and put that footage in now: okay, so we're going to go ahead and plug in the sound bar now [, Music ] all right now the light is blinking blue. You want to go grab your remote to your sound bar and press on that volume button you want to press down on it, hold it for five seconds: [: Music, ], okay, so on your soundbar you're, looking for id set to pop up on it. Okay

Samsung Wireless Rear Speaker Kit SWA 9500S - 3 Months Later

After a terrible experience with Samsung's shop and customer service, I finally received *the beast*. It was extremely easy to link it, just had to connect the speakers to the receiver, power it up and press the "Up" key on the soundbar's remote for 5 seconds. Voilà ! It's that simple.

On stereo content, I was surprised to discovery they actually do a pretty good job at improving the soundstage as well. It does not widen but definitely gains a lot of depth, although not as much as true surround content, of course.

So, are these 9100S worth it? From what I've experienced, definitely! Especially given they're cheaper now in some places than when they launched, and about half the price of the higher-end 9500S (which is not compatible with the Q900T anyway), it is a very interesting solution.

The sound quality is fine without being incredible, and it is on par with what the soundbar can do, so you won't have the effect you may have with some products where the rear speakers are considerably worse than the main item, which creates a really weird sound signature. Here, everything works perfectly.

On the sound part now! The sound of these speakers is surprinsigly good and big given their size, and they work really well with the Q900T, even though they lack upfiring drivers.

 Once that was fixed, I was getting sound, but you couldn't hear it from the couch. Tweaked some settings on the soundbar, and it was better..

 until about a week later I'm watching an action movie and swore something we going off behind me. I don't know whether it stabilizes the connection over time, or just a weird break in period, but they got SO MUCH BETTER. Am I an expert? No. Are there more expensive systems that sound better? Probably, but this one cost me about a buck fifty for amazing surround sound

We had purchased a new TV, and were looking to make the jump to surround sound. Since we already owned a samsung Q70 soundbar that went with the last TV, we figured for the price why not give these a try. At worst we return them, and at best we'd expect them to be passable. They have surpassed any expectation I had for them

 but still not that nice room filling sound you want. I was convinced that the speakers just didn't have the power, and we'd be saving for an upgrade. Then a few days went by, and I noticed it was getting more noticeable.

Great affordable surround sound

At $200-ish, YES, BUY. I would recommend them to anyone, and I am seriously considering buying two more of them for family members right now!. At $200 instead of $400+, do not pass this up!

  Volume control gets 1 star deduction because it’s not readily accessible as it should be (you’ll have to navigate through the settings of the soundbar with their small letters on the corner to find the volume of the rear speakers)  As I stated before, do yourself a favor and buy the 10 ft two-prong non-polarized wires on Amazon, so you can send through any tubes or plug them where you need them.

  It’s hard for me to rate their audio performance since it’s the second set of speakers I have owned, and I haven’t tried the Dolby Atmos yet, so I’m giving them 5 stars on Sound Quality in advance, but will update if I notice anything. Keep in mind these are $300 rear speakers, plus the $600 retail price of the sound bar, so this set (soundbar and speakers) should compete with the Sonos bar in audio quality at least.  Sure, the angle conceal the connection to the speakers themselves, but that angle makes it impossible to conceal the actual wire in any stand, for the people who don’t want to see any wires. Buy a couple of wires when you buy this set.  But that could just be how I have them set up. I might need to raise their volume a notch or something. Overall great quality sound and build.
