Also, the bar can playback many different audio formats, including Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos, both of which you're likely to come across on most streaming platforms. That said, since it lacks rear speakers, it doesn't perform as well as the Vizio M Series M51a-H6.  There's a plus symbol that lights up on the corner so it signifies on the soundbar and it signifies on the television. Okay the subwoofer is connected to the soundbar. Let me tell you I've never experienced such an easier setup process than this right here. The way this works is once you plug in the subwoofer right here it automatically connects to the soundbar right away so that you don't even need to push in the button on there to pair it

 Okay everything's all hooked in here now. Soundbar is displayed underneath the TV. I was a little bit concerned about that once I got the soundbar on there because I didn't know how high it was going to be to the bottom of the television there and it's like right there. It's almost perfect and then I got a little bit concerned to see if the sensors would still be able to read or remote control but it's fine

Okay everything's unboxed here. I'm going to go ahead and get to all the power cables hooked up into the subwoofer in the soundbar and get it up there and get it plugged in and get it set up

Samsung HW-Q60B Soundbar Honest Review

 I had to reset he sub with the sound bar off, pressing button on sub then top circle on remote for 5 seconds and you see the ID being reset on the soundbar then woofer and rear worked again. Woofer is pretty wimpy if u have ever had a real one and rears aren't great audio f you have ever have a home theater with rears. Just he sound bar is ok and it does a good job with voices. Don't expect to return during the warranty period even if it's defective for any Samsung product

 Now on the top of this sound bar along the top right here it's got that acoustic beam technology. Now what that is is say there's like a for example there's a car you're watching Fast or Furious or something like that and there's something on the screen that moves here and just kind of moves along with the screen. The beam technology will give you that sound that kind of goes right along with it just like that moving with the action that's on the screen. Some really cool technology

 Now the other great thing about this is it's not specific to the QLED. If you had another Samsung tv you could do that also or if you had another brand tv Vizio LG or something like that you could still use the sound bar with those models of televisions but if you do purchase a QLED tv like I got here I recommend that you complement it with one of these awesome sound bars. It just makes a really cool movie experience especially if you're spending that kind of money go ahead and just spend a few extra hundred dollars and get this sound bar and then you'll never have to go to the movie theater you can just kind of stay home and watch your movies that way but having those different hookups on the back of this thing make it very versatile to what you can hook this sound bar up. Okay so now what's it been like owning this sound bar for one whole month? It has been a great sound bar

A Dream in Progress

 I tried a few things, but the only thing that worked was to turn off the TV speakers. Not sure if I want the better sound if you get weird sounding echoes on occasion. So I’m pretty much just using the soundbar in normal mode and it sounds fine. The surround mode doesn’t seem to do anything

awesome bar but there are connection issues. seems to be a random issue as many on forums dont have the issue. i did and i sent mine in 8/1. they promised to replace the bar on 8/5 and as of 8/10 i still do not have a replacement so thatvhas been a bit frustrating

Great bar with issues

2 system for our bedroom, which had the ability to Chromecast from Youtube Music directly to the soundbar without turning on the TV.  With the Q990B, it seems like we're stuck Chromecasting to the TV in order to playback on this soundbar.  Did not meet expectations for something seemingly trivial to add.  As for the sound quality, it does seem much more improved than the Q7CB, but I'm no audiophile, and I've not put it through its paces yet

Premium soundbar with premium pricing, but the one I received seems to lack Chromecasting abilities? On the other hand, we had purchased the Samsung Q7CB 3.1.2 system for our bedroom, which had the ability to Chromecast from Youtube Music directly to the soundbar without turning on the TV.  After about 1 to 2 hours on the phone with Samsung and another hour on my own I was told I had a defective unit and to send it in. After reading all the reviews of no sound from these I decided to send it back and get the 700 series and am I glad I did. It's worth the extra money. Mine also lost sound completely as most of the reviews I read said happened to them
