I ordered an Arc and Sub from the official site back in January. Initially, my thought was it was out of my range but i got 30% off to bring it down to the $1200 range. 

Well here we are in March and it seems that the earliest I'd receive is April. But even then i have my doubts.

The discount kind of felt like it locked me in (i actually paid for the discount code), but at some point i would maybe consider letting it go.

I'm going to keep an eye out for other deals. But what comparable soundbars would you be looking for with around the same budget?

I've kept an eye out for discounts on the Samsung HWq950a, and the Bose 900. Any others i should be including? I know by the time I could receive it's also getting deeper into spring where new products are going to come out. Would any of you cancel and wait?

Frustrated and open to some thoughts.

Alternatives to Sonos Arc and Sub

1 channel setup moot. If you don't have a soundbar at all, I recommend going for this one. However, if you already have a 2.1 setup, then chances are you won't really benefit from this - it'll be more of the same

As a consumer who is coming from a Vizio 2.1 sound setup, this is a decent upgrade. The only real improvements I would say that are noticeable are the quality of the bass, and the quality of the treble when hearing music and watching films/shows. The rear speakers are practically nonexistent and really makes the whole point of the 5

Decent Sound Quality

 At least in my case, I bought a brand new soundbar by Samsung. Yes, so this is a Samsung Q60T soundbar. It has the acoustic beam sound system, adaptive audio, and it also includes the rear speakers and the subwoofer. I haven't done a soundbar review in maybe about three years, and I remember I did a review of something similar back then

 And then you don't have to worry about running wires all the way to the front of the soundbar, which is nice. The sound is good. Now let's go to the actual soundbar. And here it is

 But that being said, I think it still sounds very, very nice. All right guys. So I also connected my Xbox Series X through the soundbar and from the soundbar to the TV via ARC. And let me tell you, I am so happy to report that everything, almost everything works

 Now here underneath the soundbar, we have the power port and also there's a USB port. On the other side, we have an optical port for audio and there are two HDMI ports. I know they're HDMI 2.0 because they do support 4K passthrough and also HDR

Samsung Q65T The Ultimate Gaming Soundbar Under $300

I have a bose solo 5 that was bought 5 years ago

in the past 3 years I got bose 500, Klipsch cinema 700, sony flagship (it was flagship 10 years ago, forgot the model number, it is thin and the speaker were facing upwards).

unfortunately, for all the 3 I got, they have wider soundstage for sure, but when it comes to the sound for movie, the dialogue does not have the elastic feeling as the solo 5, which gives a cinema feeling. And the clarity of dialogue for solo 5 is also better than cinema 700 and sony.

I just wonder is there any soundbar that has good dialogue performance while expanding the soundstage?

 But in the listing it said nothing about being a grade B or slightly used. It was deceptive and listed just like any brand new item on Amazon. The only reason I gave it the rating I did is because the sound quality is great!

Aim for the Q65T/ZA if possible at Best Buy USA exclusively supposedly, that gear rated very high on sound quality.

All of them come with subwoofer I’d like to spend less than $400 but if on sale I’ll binge on it

Stuck between these 3 Sound bar any help choosing would be great have 55inch Roku tv HDMI arc,optical, USB

Sounds great in a small room, but the bluetooth range is absolutely horrendous. I have to be approximately 10ft from it otherwise it looses connection or skips badly.

I can't adjust rear speakers to balance the room out. Read a bunch online and can't get it figured out. Literaly why I bought this product to begin.
