If you're worried about the risk of permanent burn-in associated with OLEDs or simply want something brighter, check out the Samsung QN65QN90AAFXZA. It's an excellent overall TV that uses Mini LED backlighting to get extremely bright, and combined with the fantastic reflection handling, visibility isn't an issue in bright rooms. Even in a dark room, it displays deep blacks thanks to the high contrast and great local dimming feature that improves the picture quality in dark scenes. Even if you tend to play a lot of video games, it has a few gamer-friendly features like variable refresh rate (VRR) support and HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for high-frame-rate gaming. However, with only one HDMI 2.1 port, you can only connect one HDMI 2.1 device at a time, which isn't ideal if you have a PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The Hisense U8G is a good cheaper alternative if you're on a bit of a tighter budget but don't want to lose out on many features. It has many of the same gaming features as the QN90A, and while it doesn't have Mini LED backlighting, it still gets bright, and the local dimming feature is great. However, it has some motion issues with high-frame-rate games that can get distracting. We tested the 55 inch version of each TV, and the results are also valid for the 65 inch model.

The best LED TV under $2,000 is the Samsung QN65QN90AAFXZA. It's a high-end TV that delivers impressive picture quality, and it comes with an outstanding selection of additional features. It's a premium model, so for under $2,000, you can find the 65 inch model, which performs like the 55 inch model we tested.

It has an impressive new Mini LED backlight - which delivers higher peak brightness levels and allows tighter local dimming control than traditional LED TVs. It's one of the brightest TVs we've ever tested, and it can easily overcome glare in almost any environment. Combined with its great local dimming feature and wide color gamut, the latest HDR content looks amazing. It supports HDR10 and HDR10+, but not Dolby Vision, which is disappointing.

Unfortunately, it has some gray uniformity issues like dirty screen effect that can get distracting when watching sports. There's also a bit of blooming around bright objects in dark scenes, and the local dimming performs worse in Game Mode, but it's not too bad overall. It has a VA panel with an excellent contrast ratio and great local dimming to display deep blacks. However, the contrast is a bit lower than most VA TVs due to the 'Ultra Viewing Angle' technology that improves the viewing angle, so it's a good choice for fairly wide seating arrangements. All in all, this is one of the best TVs we've tested.

 Volume and channel rockers sit below the pad; below them are dedicated service buttons for Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Samsung TV Plus (Samsung&rsquo;s Pluto TV&ndash;like free live TV streaming service). Gaming features are one of the QN90A's strong points. All four of its HDMI inputs are compatible with variable refresh rate, including AMD's FreeSync and standard VRR formats, as well as ALLM (aka Auto Game Mode), which lets it automatically switch to game mode to reduce input lag when it detects you're playing a game. Only Input 3 handles eARC.Input 4, which is conveniently marked with a little game controller icon, also accepts 4K/120Hz with and without HDR

 This issue in Dynamic mode isn't a huge deal for me, however, because I don't recommend using that mode anyway.Samsung's light-rejecting screen is the best in the business, maintaining contrast and punch in bright lighting, and reducing reflections, better than the Vizio and the LG. The screen, combined with the QN90A's prodigious light output, make it the best TV I've ever tested for bright rooms.      The Samsung's screen was excellent at rejecting reflections

 And like most TVs, you can also pair the QN90A with separate Alexa or Google speakers.Samsung's health app debuted on its TVs in 2020&nbsp;and this year it's expanding to offer guided personal training. Plug in an optional webcam (Samsung has a list of recommended cameras, all by Logitech) and the app will track your exercises and give you coaching complete with celebrity personal trainers like Jillian Michaels.You can also use that webcam for video chat with the Google Duo app, which allows up to 12 others to join the chat

Samsung's remote is one of my favorites to use, with minimal buttons and just the right feel in-hand. Channel and volume keys click up and down, Ambient mode gets its own button as does the mic for voice and even the Netflix and Amazon app shortcut keys are nicer than on other remotes: They lack garish colors and instead just match the rest of the wand.Ambient mode is designed to show stuff on the screen when you're not watching TV. It's a cool feature if you don't like the big black rectangle of an inert TV and can display your photos, designer art, the weather, headlines and even adjust backgrounds to match your wall

 The remote is easy enough to navigate to what you want.  Initial setup was very easy and basically plug-and-play. There are eight screws for the display stand, all the same size. This model is on the heavier side
