Lol I'm a goddamn fool I upgraded from a budget samsung 6 series 50 to a 60 inch model tu7000f or d, it was 400 at a pawn shop it still had the plastic wrap around the bezel so u know previous owner just bought it manufacture date july 2021 was it worth it 10 extra inches in this small bedroom 🤔.

Small remotes suck. The enter button is in the dead middle of the remote, and if you're in the dark and miss that button then you'll find yourself in a menu or back at the app home page.

Right now I have a 43" Samsung N5300 TV I bought Jan 2019, this TV works well and I really have no issues with it and it works perfectly. The only reason I would like to upgrade its because I want a bigger TV and because I would like a 4K TV. I mention all this just to specify that Im not a TV buff or someone who will understand much about it.

So, here its my budget and use:

Use: game (ps4), movies, sports and tv series (general use). I seat in the front of the TV

Size: preferably over 50"

budget: 1,000 CAD

Right now I was looking at a Samsung 65" TU7000 (900 CAD), but I was thinking I might get a better TV from another brand with the same price (a TLC or Hisense with better specs?)

Any ideas?

Recommendation for new TV

This is one of those cases that if you can still find the older version, buy it. It is better in every way other than weight and profile. The remote control is clumsy but Amazon sells a better remote for $10.

Buy this model rather than the new "upgraded" version.
