 These are very similar. Now it's kind of driving myself crazy. Looking for everything from you know, the base level changes like how much trouble does it have how much base does it have? What'S the mid-range like and then kind of you know further down the rabbit hole? What'S the decay like what is the location of this specific symbol? Is that the same on the other amp? How far away does it seem? What'S the the space in the kind of room behind it sounding like all that sort of stuff, and I got nothing between these two, which is a bit disappointing cuz. I was really hoping to be able to kind of explore the sound differences between the two different methods, but I don't really think there's anything anything to be found at least to my ear, and I was using pretty revealing headphones as well

 They do not have a budget sound anymore. Now, a real quick trip back to memory lane the first high fidelity headphone that I bought was the standard HD 800. I actually ended up returning him because I really didn't like him and one of the things that I bought with. It was a original mode II and an original Magni

The new $100 King?-  Schiit Magni 3+ & Heresy

 Also, it has much better battery life (13 hours vs 9). Again, I can’t stress how seamless this thing integrates itself between your phone and headphones. The app is every “audiophile”/audio nerds dream, it allows you to control every minute aspect of your headphones and does so in a greatly intuitive, natural feeling manner. Major props to Qudelix, this is the first DAC/AMP I’ve had that I feel is pushing the boundaries and does something really special that others do not

So ever since I’ve been into high quality audio and headphones, I’d have to sit around my laptop and be hooked up to my Schiit Magni/Modi for the best audio experience. This is mainly due to the fact that I can EQ off my Mac, but not my iPhone, and because my phone doesn’t provide enough power to use USB DACs. However, the Qudelix app is just insanely good in so many ways and constantly upgrading. The parametric EQ works even better than the one I’ve been using in SoundSource, and allows you to save 30 custom settings

 The app is every “audiophile”/audio nerds dream, it allows you to control every minute aspect of your headphones and does so in a greatly intuitive, natural feeling manner. Got better after breaking in...

[, Music ]: what's up guys, my name is Josh, and this is gon na be a review of the Magne 3, and this is pretty much recommended for either a budget or cheap amplifier by a lot of people and I'm actually not really gon na, be any Different than that for just a straight-up amplifier, there really aren't gon na be too many better deals out there if there are really any at all now the servi is probably not gon na be too long because i'm not trying to beat you over the head with Information - you probably already know about this guy, but if you want to skip to any particular part, go ahead and jump here. I do want to give a huge shout out to Ryan from Mott house, because he did send me this so go ahead and check out mod house. They they mod T 50 RPS to make organs and organs are incredible. There'S a link to the review for that down below as well, so make sure to check that out

 Is the 4 X X's the Argon's, the Blues de Kony Blues, the m10 60s and the advanced alphas and the advanced GTR, and they all kind of had the same problem right as I hit about three o'clock on the volume dial and high gain, I started to Get this pretty bad in Distortion and the glare, though I'm not sure if this is exactly correct. I don't know if there's like a universal term for glare, but basically what I was getting was. The dynamic range in the highs was starting to drastically minimize, and so overall you get this loudness where there's nozbe loudness and it becomes like kind of overbearing, especially in the highs and that's kind of what I was getting with this about three o'clock before that testing. I actually had to turn down my source because I could not play the other headphones that loud it was

 So the glare or the brightness problem on high gain about 3 o'clock. I was starting to get pretty bad distortion in the highs, but when I was really paying attention to that, I was listening to this 6 X X.  It was hurting my ears, the only headphone that could handle that volume again was the organs. So it's also important to note that I've had a Magni, but I had a Mac knee one, and this is like two years ago away before I was really paying attention to audio. So it's it's important to note that this could just be my unit, but I'd love to know if you have any experience with this sort of thing, with the Mac knee down below I'd love, to hear your thoughts. That being said, let's go ahead and jump it at the conclusion, so this is a 10 out of 10 product that glare problem is gon na, be beyond what most headphones could be playing at, and that could be a fault of just this unit

Schiit Magni 3 Review (Great $100 Amp)

So, I'm looking for an amp of the same quality from a different brand which does not sell fire hazards. Preferably a EU brand as importing from USA is very expensive.

  The Magni 3+ is slightly smaller than the Spark, and runs quite a bit cooler. I'd give it five stars if not for two design flaws: 1) there should be a power switch on the front of the unit, and 2) the volume control should be farther away from the headphone jack.

I bought this Schiit amp to replace a Monoprice Liquid Spark amp that would occasionally emit a loud pop, which is not only painful but not good for the headphones. After submitting a couple of inquiries to Monoprice customer service and not getting a response, I've moved on.  The Magni 3+ is slightly smaller than the Spark, and runs quite a bit cooler.  One of those is the O L atom stack from JD s and the other one is this one right here. This is the Magnum OD stack from [ __, ] audio and the time since I got my [ __ ] stack they've sent released two new versions of the magnet amp, the three plus and the heresy, both at the hundred dollar mark. So we're to look at both of those today and compare contrast against the O L atom stack from JD s, then in future videos we'll talk about gaming, specific options, whether you even need to go that way and we'll look at a couple internal options as well. You ready, let's go: [ Music, ], yo Albright, P you're, watching bad C Tech, and today we're checking out the new ish Magni offerings, the three plus and the hare receive from [ __ ] audio

 This is a beginner DAC amp combo that really doesn't sound like a beginner combo. You can still run low power and handle delicate stuff like IEMs, and you can handle some pretty beefy headphones as well for 85 to 90 % of you, especially those who gain as much or more than they listen to music. This is probably the last audio solution. You would ever need a good argument here for splashing the extra money on a separate stack versus something like the one we looked at from the file is exactly what we're looking at here, where, if you already have the Modi and the Magna 3, you can upgrade To the 3 plus amp or the heresy, and still utilize your existing Modi DAC and cables, which, by the way, I actually would recommend the upgrade if you're still running the Maggie 3, so the old one off and copped the new one

 The atom to me sounds very close to the heresy. The three plus is a slightly different animal. It'S tough to explain, but that three plus has like a smoothness to it that the other two lack it still has clarity and it sounds more capable than the og Maggie three. But the heresy and the atom has so much detail that the mix on certain tracks can feel a bit disconnected on the heresy

 If gaming features and comms are important to you and how you play, you still really can't go wrong with the Sennheiser GS X, 1000 as a DAC paired with an atom or a magnet 3 for that matter. But aesthetically I like to look at this more when you pair it with the atom, you can unlock the ability to use some really demanding headphones. Now you will be trading audio fidelity for features. I think it goes

DAC/AMP Stacks Feat. Schiit Magni 3+ & Magni Heresy: BEST Beginner Stacks!!

I got the Hifiman Sundara 10 days ago and so far I am loving them. Connected through the Schiit Modi/Magni combo they sound full, the bass is enough. And many others have mentioned it is.

As for the volume I get *a lot of sound* at 2/3 'o clock on the volume knob at low gain on the Schiit Magni. On high gain 12 o clock is more than enough. *[Edit: with 12/1 o clock being more than enough, just highlighting that 3 o clock will get you ear shattering volumes]*

Unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on a Schiit Loki (in Europe there is no stock) for some EQ possibilities. So for now I have ordered a Behringer FBQ mini, will see if it extends the bass a bit more. For the rest, very clear mids and highs. Vocals sound great

At first glance I thought its one of those 3-5k$+ hifiman ultrahighend offerings but checked it out and hmmm.....

How do you find it? I am looking for some planar headphones to compliment my HD6XX + burson playmate combo. Ever since I heard my friends LCD-X driven properly there is this planar scratch I cannot get rid of. And these are in my price range technically....

Great combo you have there. A buddy of mine has that same setup (with the Folio H2XR) and loves it!  By the way, they can take 100+ hours of playing time to come into their own.

If I'm going to be stuck working from home all these months, might as well treat myself. Sundara's turned out to be pretty, pretty, pretty good.

 Sounds amazing and clear, adding alot to your headphones. I recommend leaving it on for a bit before listening though.  I'd give it 5 stars but my first try at the item resulted in a capacitor exploding the moment I turned it on.

I am extremely happy that I bought this Amp. Been using the ifi Zen Dac alone for a long time, and felt like upgrading my setup. Sounds amazing and clear, adding alot to your headphones. I recommend leaving it on for a bit before listening though

Worth Every Dime

  As a result I decided to get into the headphones game.  I initially bout a set of Hifiman HE-560v4 from Adorama and was for the most part pleases with them.  Pair with the Schiit Magni Heresy they were really impressive as my first real set of hifi headphones.  Unfortunately an issue with the Magni led to me returning them both and the decision to replace them with the Sundaras

  They have a nice bass presence, just not overstated.  The bass just kinda hangs around and letting you know it’s there but not making a scene or looking for attention.  They are very lite and comfortable also!  The Schiit Magni Heresy has plenty of power and drives really good volume even in low gain.  In order to get use of the headphones away from my main seating area I also bought a dragonfly black

  I am so glad I did!  First of all the lively nature of the Sundaras really suit me better.  I heard a review of the HE-560’s once that described them as sounding like they have a film over the sound.  It took for me to head the Sundaras to realize what that meant.  The 560’s have a more pronounced low end, but that’s not to say the Sundaras are weak on bass
