It's okay. I wish the handle scales were closer profiled to the tang - hotspots under fairly mild use. Grind is a tiny bit off (really have to look to see it). Edge grind was quite far from perfect on my example, although it was working-sharp

 The sheath is just plain junk. I couldn't take the knife out of it. I had to use my heat gun to re-shape it. It works now, but it is still a junky cheap plastic sheath

 Handle heavy, takes some getting use to. Rusts very easy becareful not to use around out door elements unless nessacary. The Carbon tip can break if used as a tool. Over all I rate it a 3 because of its awkward feel, but i still take a liken to it as i got use to it

 The sheath is excellent and adjustable in every direction plus some extra eyelets for other options, my knife came in sharp, but not as sharp as some others I have held, not sure it this is because of blade thickness or not? All and all it's obviously a nice knife for the money I'm just disappointed I won't be carrying it every day due to weight : (

The handle material doesn't inspire confidence by feel, but after testing the slippage against a knife that did it actually won out by a large margin when I tried to slip my digits under heavy pressure, I guess the brain prefers a more textured surface to gauge travel in slippage, but that doesn't mean it works better? This is actually news for me, I was getting ready to dog out the handle in this review until I actually tested it's performance. Everyday carry NO, survival YES.

Good knife

 I highly recommend this knife for anyone wanting a solid work horse that can be easily accessed for quick jobs while experiencing the great outdoors.

 after making a new kydex sheath to my liking and hollowing out the handle scales and removing a huge slab of steel in the handle between the screws I managed to remove a staggering 38Grams / 1.36oz from the handle!! Weight? Perfect! Balance?..

. its simply WAY to heavy. the balance is god awful, forget mid knife, more like mid handle! its small but very thick blade stock.
