 So here's the basics. It's huge and heavy. Well designed for zombie crushing. I wouldn't count on it as a thrown weapon, but maybe as a last resort

This thing is bonkers HUGE

.. 1 - there is no hole on the finger guard as depicted in some pictures (though this is not a fatal flaw I would have liked that hole), 2 - the titanium coating on the blade (on mine at least) was a dark grey and quite a thick coating, almost like a parkerized finish, which is not how it was depicted in pictures and in the factory video, 3 - the knife came relatively sharp, but FAR from "razor sharp" as many have claimed, so I had to do a little sharpening.

Good knife, but edge geometry looks off.

 The handle isn't horrible but could be more comfy when gripping the knife tightly. The grip area is my only minor complaint so far. Otherwise this knife is well worth what I paid for it IMO.

Well worth the $ to me.

 The only issue I have with this knife is that the blade is curved ever so slightly. When I build bows, the belly needs to be flat, not convex or concave. I can work with this, but most of you guys won’t be using the knife for this purpose, so it’s more of a cosmetic issue. Overall I forsee some rough use with this tool

 I should of known better since the price was inexpensive for the size of the blade. Oh well, I will use it camping to chop up kindling and it won’t matter about the finishes. But yea I’m super underwhelmed! Haha. Made in China too 🤨

 Not sure what caused that. Once I wiped off all the oil from the blade/handle/sheath I could see that my blade was “scratched a bit on multiple areas..

Not quality at all!

  The blade is a grade of steel used by many of the Chinese import knives from Kershaw, SOG, and Spyderco..  If you pay a bit more for an Ontario, Tops, ESEE, or other higher quality knife brand you will get a knife that lasts longer and it will be easier to maintain a sharp edge.  That said, it would take some effort to get the better of this Schrade
