... it worked like a charm! In addition, I really like the design because it's super clean

 Nothing stands out and my dash is free from any glue from conventional mounts.  My only two complaints (and not really the manufacturer's fault, but more of a limitation due to the design) is that it doesn't allow to have the pone on a different angle..

Slick design and great solution for overheating phones

I have an iPhone XR in an Otterbox Defender case and this magnetic mount works great with the attachment plate slipped between the back of the phone and the phone case. Low placement of the thin metal plate is important in order for wireless charging to still function properly, but I personally have not had any issues with charging with proper plate placement. The mount holds the phone securely under most circumstances--an occasional hard bump or turn may cause the phone to shift some, but I have not yet had the phone release from the magnetic base. Overall lI am happy with this mount as it does what it claims to do and the base holds securely to the vehicle with the adhesive & proper prep as well as the phone stays in place

Works Well With My iPhone XR in Otterbox Defender Case

 If you put it in the window or windshield, it will stay strong and wont fall. The other good thing is that if the rubber part gets dirty, all you have to do is rinse it with water and itll stick again. If you need it for your windshield definitely I say go for this.
