I do like this vacuum.  Suction is great, with the duo cleaning head, but what I don't like about it, if you have pets with long hair, this vacuum is not the one for you.  I have a Golden Retriever and 2 cats. I vacuum every day

  Messy. I do like that it can lay down and vacuum under the beds though.  So only 3 stars because of the problem trying to untangle the hair from the roller.  Oh, also, be nice if the vacuum would stand up, it will when you detach the hand part, otherwise you have to lay it down

It worked well as far a cleaning, but my disappointment came with it when the vac  kept falling back down every time I needed to move something. It would not stand up, it was to top heavy and fell over. So I returned it to Walmart.

  What I love: The suction is amazing. I have hard wood floors through out, with large area rugs in most rooms. You are able to easily switch from bare floors to carpet performance right on the handle, and both modes pick up so much! My old bissel always left tiny sand/crumbs behind on the wood floors, so this was such an improvement. I also love how easy it is to maneuver

 The lights on the base give really good visibility as well, especially in corners and under furniture. This cord is also long enough to do a huge section of the house at a time, so that's been great. I have read a lot of reviews about not being able to stand the vacuum upright, and having to lean it against something or lay it down during outlet changes or pauses during cleaning. However, the motor attachment up top easily comes off and can rest on the base so that the weight is distributed and can stand upright

 The stick vacuum is thin enough you can easily slide under furniture. AND the base is narrow enough to go in between chair legs when I'm doing a quick clean, rather than moving the chairs all around to get the spots underneath. The lights on the base give really good visibility as well, especially in corners and under furniture. This cord is also long enough to do a huge section of the house at a time, so that's been great

   Wish i could have talked my husband into the light cordless dyson stick vacuum.  I have used one in years past, but my husband said that the batteries on those give out after a short time.  I don't really care about that as long as it can be fixed.  It was incredibly easy to use

On a positive note, it is a little easier to get under some things.  It is neat that the head is so flexible, but again it is hard to control the vacuum.   Even though the suction is strong, it still only does an average job at vacuuming.  Still felt stuff on the ground after vacuuming

  I don't really care about that as long as it can be fixed.  It was incredibly easy to use.  Not sure how the current model dyson works, but 3 years ago it was awesome!  Hope this helps!

Average ok cleaning, and cumbersome to use.

  The ONLY issue I have is with the cord on this particular model. For some reason, it twists and loops and kinks and refuses to straighten out no matter what I do. It is constantly getting stuck on things because of the loops and twists, and it refuses to be easily rewound on the cord hooks. I like the extra-long length of the cord, but it's worthless if the cord doesn't stay straight

 Unbelievable pick up on carpet. Hold on tight when on the capet, it takes off. I had vacuumed the carpet with my upright the day before receiving my Shark & was amazed at what the Shark picked up. It nearly filled the canister with only 1/4 of the room done

So pleased with my Shark! With my shoulder condition, it is painful to use an upright. The Shark monuver's effortlessly, it picks up everything with NO spitback on bare floors, edge pick up is superb from the side (not so much straight on) & lots of cord. Unbelievable pick up on carpet. Hold on tight when on the capet, it takes off

 This has power and doesn't take up too much space but it is not lightweight or convenient. I was trying to decide between this and the dyson coldness and I chose the shark because it costs less. Regrets, I have them.  This shark can't stand up in its own, i didn't think I'd mind that but I do, it's cumbersome to wrap the cord up, it sucks

 I should have gone with the dyson cordless, for me, it's worth the extra $$ to be able to quickly grab it use it and put it back without having to wrestle with a cord. Also, the shark is heavy and awkward.  It does however work well and mount to the wall nicely to keep it out of the way. Next up for me, dyson cordless
