Purchased this from Emma's Cosmetics & Skincare (Amazon seller) since it looked the same as the one I bought at Sephora. This is actually the Shiseido 213 Eyelash Curler, imported from Japan, not "The Makeup" model.  Although it works fine, the build and finish quality is not the same as "The Makeup"  It's probably better if I bought from Sephora again.

I have super short/straight Asian lashes and I’ve found that getting the right eyelash curler also makes a huge difference — I use the Shiseido curler and then Lancombe’s mascara primer (I feel like it helps keep the mascara from transferring to my under eyes throughout the day lol) and finish with Huda Beauty’s legit lashes for the mascara itself!.

I'm looking for a mascara that is good for volume and length, doesn't clump or flake, but most importantly, keeps the curl!

I have straight, Asian hair/eyelashes and I find that most mascaras flatten out the curl. That's why I typically go towards waterproof mascaras because they tend to hold the curl better. In the past, I've used Maybelline's Colossal and L'Oreal's Voluminous.

It's cute, works well and has a mirror!. Shiseido eyelash curler: This fits my eye perfectly well. I rotate this along with another curler. Plus the rubbers can be replaced!

Then I curl them with the warm curler. It helps keep them lifted for longer and gives my downturned eyelashes a better curl. I haven’t had any issues for the past year with damage or eyelash loss so it seems to be okay/safe for them.

I am looking for more beauty hacks like a life saver or spending less but still get the job.

My old one would constantly pinch my eyelids and would make me tear up / whatever I had curled would immediately straighten out from getting wet, but ever since changing to this curler, i don't experience pinching, my lashes curl so well without much effort, its so much easier, and they STAY UP. I use this with Etude house's mascara fixer primer and at the end of the day my lashes aren't curled as high but they are still noticeably curled!

It really does make a difference

After many years of trying SO MANY eyelash curlers this is the BEST!!! I have to curl my eyelashes daily and so many other brands pinch my eyes and make lashes fall out. this is a must have for anyone who is serious about wanting to look their best every day! highly recommended!
