The issue ends up being two issues, but one is caused by the other. Firstly the pivot/pan latch connections loosen very easily making it so you have to tighten them often. Have not use it extensively yet. Only set it up to determine if it could hold my Canon 7dMII, 70-200LII with 2x extender, video light and Rode mic. Needless to say it was a slam dunk..........just like Shaq.......this instrument is as sturdy as the come. Can't wait to get it out in the field.
