 It didn't get chalky and it didn't break up on me when I was putting on my bronzer and I did not apply powder anywhere on my face except right here so I didn't do powder in this area and it still didn't get chalky. Typically when I don't apply powder before applying my bronzer it gets really ugly in this area and here it looks good. I'm excited to see how this foundation will wear throughout the day because if this is going to stay this this matte throughout the day then this foundation is going to be a perfect foundation for people who have oily skin. So right now it is 12 41 in the afternoon so I'm going to wear this until later on tonight and I'm going to check in with you guys to see how it's holding up

I'm on the Smashbox website and on here they have 22 different shades which I did not know they had 22 shades for this foundation. And online it looks like they have a lot of shades for deeper skin tones and it looks like they have a lot of shades for more fair skin tones

I feel pretty for once!!!!!

I have oily/acne prone skin and I need a good coverage foundation. This leaves a bit of an oily sheen on my face, and I don't feel like the coverage lasts longer than 2 hours. I'm a nurse I run around and sweat All day so I need a matte & stay put foundation. This just didn't cut it for me

 I'm 34 and am starting to get the little creases around my eyes. This foundation doesn't pronounce them like some do.

 I have the shade in 4.0. It is a bit warm. I have bought my lightening drops just in case because I'm going to work today so I don't want it to look too orangey on me

 On the back of the foundation it says that this is a hydrating foundation which was created in their LA photo studio to look and feel amazing throughout an entire 15-hour shoot. So I'm guessing this looks really good on camera. Medium to full buildable coverage. Oil-free, controls oil all day

 It's full coverage, it just brightens and conceals the under eyes. You don't see those dents under my eyes extreme like a lot. I just really like the concealer, I'm very happy with it. The foundation I'm not too sure yet and the primer I definitely see myself using it

I have recently tried estee lauder double wear and absolutely LOVE how it looks on my skin but I feel like it sucks out every drop of moisture from my skin even with a thick layer of moisturiser underneath it. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’m based in Europe btw.

 It is 8 48 in the morning when we're starting this. I was just having a moment with my good old fan because it feels like it is Approximately 102 degrees in this room, but here's what the box looks like I'm super excited to try this one because it is supposed to be full coverage and it says it has a matte finish No idea if the shade I chose is going to work It looks a little bit dark whoops when i'm trying to pick a shade online I kind of would rather go like a little bit dark than too white because I just feel like super ghostly when I go Too light but I may have gotten like way too dark with this one So I probably could have been in like the zero point range Not the one point it says this is supposed to be heat proof and sweat proof, right? Yeah, sweat and humidity resistant great because I am already sweating so it comes in a squeeze tube right here Which is really nice for traveling and it's just light and easy to carry Yeah, I definitely chose a two shade two what caffeine. I definitely chose a shade too dark Okay, let's just go ahead and start out with the brush on this side of my face. I'll do a sponge on the other side Ooh Oh, hell yeah to this coverage Definitely

I'm hoping to get some advice for a good foundation before a friends' wedding this summer. I'm a bridesmaid but we're all doing our own makeup. My problem is that I don't really know where to start with getting a foundation! Before the pandemic and WFH I was using The Ordinary's Serum foundation daily but I found it got clumpy around my chin and looked patchy sometimes, so I don't really want to wear that.

I'm looking for a medium coverage foundation max and I don't really have a set budget. Annoyingly, I have combination skin, so while I prefer a very dewy look in my day-to-day, I worry that I'll look like an oil slick on my nose if I do that for the wedding pics. I have fairly clear skin, a few pimples and some acne scarring/discolouration, but very prominent pores on my nose/cheeks. I'm looking for something that'll stay put for a whole day, outdoors, in the heat of the summer. Is this an impossible ask?? I looked on Sephora briefly but got overwhelmed with the options. I feel like everything has changed since the last time I was super into makeup, back in my teens!

More info about my current routine: I usually only wear makeup 2-3 times per week and that routine is Glossier concealer in G11, boy brow and sometimes brow powder, Milk cream blush in Werk, tinted lip balm). For the wedding, I'll also add neutral eyeshadows, liquid eyeliner,  a lipliner and hopefully, a foundation. I also have a sample of the KVD powder that I can use to set my t-zone.

Wedding Foundation Advice

Asian skin, 30s, combination skin with oily t-zone, light to medium skin complexion.  This foundation has a nice creamy medium to full (probably need a couple of passes for full) coverage. My only issue with this foundation is that I think my skin gets a bit irritated with it, which is why I don't wear it everyday and make sure I wash my face by the end of the day really really well. If not and if I wear it everyday, I think my skin breaks out a bit

 My pores definitely aren't overly sort of emphasised, it looks pretty good, like I said it's dried down to sort of like a velvety kind of powdery finish, doesn't feel sticky or tacky at all. I am really really impressed with this. I honestly didn't expect this foundation to be this good because it doesn't really say anything on the packaging about it being good for oilier skin types so it's just interesting. Sometimes you know it's not always the products that are recommended for oily skin that work the best

 I'll zoom you in so you can see it a little closer. Okay so here it is on my skin right now, I think it looks really nice. Now I do know that Smashbox, they're very well known for producing really high quality cosmetics for photoshoots, for newsreaders, they're basically made for the studio.
