The Sony SRS-XB31 features what the company calls a Party Booster, which plays a variety of percussion sounds when you strike the sides and top of the enclosure. So you can play along with the music. The feature wasn't as responsive as it might have been, though, and of course it's more of a fun novelty than a necessity.
The XB31 also features cool lighting effects—a multicolored LED that changes color with the beat, accented by two white strobes. It's a nice look.
The XB31 is recommended by our testers largely on the basis of its sound quality. Though the XB stands for, um, "eXtra bass," that's a bit of a mischaracterization. Our testers found that percussion instruments were reproduced with realistic sharpness and impact, but the deepest bass was limited by the speaker's modest size.
Despite its tweedy fabric covering (available in five colors), the XB31 features an IP67 rating, which means that it should keep out both dust and water to a claimed depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. (We don't test speakers for water resistance.) That should be sufficient to withstand the rigors of most dorm rooms, even on a Saturday night.

 It'S a great rugged, Bluetooth, speaker with a nice design, pretty RGB lights, clear and loud, sound, strong bass, long battery life and it can even double as a power bank and inside. We liked it more than the xv-21. But they'll choose the FB 21 for situations where portability matters at 7400: nineteen pesos, it's a tad pricey, but given everything you get, I personally say that it's worth it.  So you get some pretty cool disco light effects that shine around the area the speaker is set up in. There are even additional lights and saw the front panel that are purely dedicated to bass, so yeah, if it isn't too obvious, the girl loves that RGB alright moving on to the buttons up top. We have a power pairing button volume, controls and boss play buttons across the funds is an NFC detection area which makes pairing with your smartphone a little bit easier. Moving on to the back, we have reports and a few more buttons, so over here you'll find a micro USB charging port 3

 The II can use to charge another device, meaning the speaker also doubles as a power bank talk about battery capacity. So, aside from those, we also have a battery check button that triggers an LED wireless party chain button, which is what you'd use. If you want to pair up with multiple other Sony speakers and also an add button that allows you to pair up with one other Sony speaker and use it to as left and right channels, so overall we really love the design of the speaker, maybe even more So than the xB 21, it is so ever quite a little bit bigger, so it loses some of the portability points. Sony EXTRA BASS SRS-XB31 Bluetooth Speaker Review

So let me start by saying this thing does sound great. I was given the xb21 (the smaller version of this speaker) and was impressed by the fullness of sound it generated but wanted something a little bit louder but nothing ridiculously large so I settled on this speaker. And for it's size it does pump out quality decibels.

 You might get one of the smaller ones, the EXPEED 10 or them to be 20 or 21 - maybe even the xB 30, but you're not going to get the 31 so yeah. My my tongue has changed if you can grab one of these for anywhere between 60 and 75 dollars, it's an absolute no-brainer, go out and buy it, even if you only burying one buy it over the xB 32. The money you're gon na save for the difference. In the sound it's my new, the xB 32 is a little bit clearer

 Where you can link these up and then you put your 3.5 millimeter jack and then you've got micro USB for your charging, which is the same as the xB 32. So it's pretty much the same in a lot of ways as their to be 32. So what I'll do now is I'll shut up and I'll? Let you listen to some sounds from the xB 31, some music, and that way you can hear what it sounds like and then I'll come back and I'll give you what I generally feel right now, all right back in a minute guys: [, Music, ], [, Music, ] [ Music, ], [, Music, ]

 But this is well 60 bucks. You will not find a Bluetooth speaker that sounds anywhere near as good looks anywhere near as good as the battery life has the capability of chained to other Sony speakers for 60 books. You might get one of the smaller ones, the EXPEED 10 or them to be 20 or 21 - maybe even the xB 30, but you're not going to get the 31 so yeah.  The hi-hats cymbal crashes. Basically, the high frequencies are such are, did a really good bit of attack here on the top and that's sharp. So it's ear piercing, I didn't have any listening fatigue, but it's only just offered enough to be enjoyable. So do I recommend the speaker? Hell? Yes, actually prefer this over the bigger XP 41 that I just reviewed because of value

 Last but not least, let's talk about the LEDs. They pulsate and glow, with your music and there's two strobe lights on the front here which aren't blinding, but they do help with the aesthetics. With the very limited customization options, though, now I'm hoping by the next year, maybe we can control, which way, maybe the lights move, creating different patterns etc, similar to the JBL pulse speakers. Overall, I loved how bright these were and I loved that they included lights on the side as well

 For me now, if I wanted 360 degree audio, I would go with the Bose sound, like we've all plus or the fugu speakers. I highly recommend those now the best and most improved feature. All of the xB speakers are ip67 certified. It'S dust proof is jock resistant from up to 4 feet or 1

Sony XB31 Xtra Bass Speaker - REVIEW

Barely used, probably only had it for a little bit over a month. But the battery life doesn’t last long, only charges up to 50 percentage. Not worth it.

I got this speaker for my 13 year old son to use in his room, and he is really happy with it. The sound is better than I expected from a speaker of this size and certainly adequate to fill his room with music. He likes alternative rock as well as musicals like Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen. Whatever genre he chooses on any particular day sounds great
