Sony X90K

I thought the review of the x90k was off. Having just purchased due to a recent sale, I found that I was much more impressed by the image and features than ratings.com reviews (and users in the sub) made it seem I would. I didn't realize how much of a non issue the blooming was until actually watching stuff. Also, I've always preferred a brighter picture, even in darker environments, so the brightness was a huge plus for me.

From RTings.com. The Sony X90K is the successor to the Sony X90J, and it's not worth the upgrade if you already have the X90J or if you're deciding between the two TVs.

However as they have been on sale a while, it is harder to find on sale now/sold out or the few retailers with a few on stock have moved it back up to msrp. The 75 inch variant is hard to find on sale now. The newest model of the above version X90K (CK at Costco) is slightly more, $1199 for the 65. But the 75 inch is around $1699.

However I feel like a x90k for $1300 would definitely be worth the upgrade fee if you plan on watching movies as rtings had this to say:. >The Sony X90K is a higher-end TV than the Sony X85J, so it has a few more features and better performance.
