Sony Xperia 1 III

It's unbelievable how the Xperia 1 III is like the only android flagship with SD card and headphone jack support now. I refuse to upgrade from my S9+ with both of these features, bought for like 600 quid years ago, to the 1k+ flagships of today with neither of them. That being said, it's not like the Xperias aren't also insanely expensive. Phone tech seems to go backwards these days.

They only ensure 2 years of updates and security patches while most brands has atleast 3 years of security updates. But hardware wise this Xperia 1 III seems to be a beast, 4K at 120Hz and good cameras.

The phone looks ok, Apple has that allure of luxury and as an electronics student I kind of geek out over the steps they've made in their processors. That said, I don't know - it just doesn't quite jump out to me as much as the other phones. Sony Xperia 1 III - Also not out yet, a bit like the Mi 11 Ultra. That said, Sony seems to have a sort of cult following that must be somewhat justified.

It is built with the same kind of quality as my Sony Xperia 1 III, which is a tremendous complement. The touch sensors are very sensitive, and that creates a very fluid interface experience. Anything can be done with a light touch.
