Speed Queen FF7

New, unless speed queen did some last-minute computer Corrections to their boards within the 30 days or so within the last 30 days, then this machine ...

So that's my review of the speed queen tr7 and the matching dryer.

Looking at the Speed Queen FF7 and DF7. Nearly $4k total.

For a front loader, I recommend the Speed Queen FF7. If the Speed Queen is out of the budget, get an LG front loader such as the WM4000. With the LG’s the exact model is not too important, but it’s best to get the simpler/cheaper ones as there’s less to go wrong and it won’t hurt as much to buy/replace them.

The brochure says that it is designed to last 25 years, the warranty is 7 years. Their washers have mixed reviews with the top loading performing poorly but their front loading machine performing quite well (and also $$). We will probably be ordering the Speed Queen FF7 or it’s equivalent once our Maytag from 1994 dies.

It’s agitator design does a really good job of rotating the the laundry through the water. Here’s a video that demonstrates the issue with the TR series https://youtu.be/4oqC1ZKCmro. Speed Queen’s TC5 is also a very good top loader. Overall, I would recommend the front loading Speed Queen FF7.
