The new Meshroom S seems to have flimsier panels with less fine mesh. The Meshroom only really makes sense if you want to squeeze an ATX mobo in it... but that isn't advisable for a new build due to all the other compromises necessary. Either way, the sandwich layout issue with FE cards can be minimized by using the [standoff mod](https://i.redd.it/7chi5brpn2c71.jpg).

I'd choose the Meshroom S for future-proofing. You have ATX mobo compatibility and/or ATX PSU too (depending on your configuration), dual rad support (for full custom loop), up to 4 slots GPU compatibility vs 3 for nr200...and it's very meshy. Cooling-wise a well designed meshroom would do wonder.

I'm suggesting staying away from the Meshroom S for purely consumer/ethical reasons to do with how that case came to be - if you don't care about those things (or agree) then the Meshroom S is probably a better choice. If you prefer the horizontal layout of the sandwich cases, then the T1 is tops. That all said, it is also a good idea to wait for testing for the new 13 series CPUs - they look like they are going to be pretty hot, and it's worth knowing what you will really need to cool them before deciding on a case, which may or may not support that cooling solution (see: AMD Zen 5). Something to consider also is if/when you upgrade, particularly the GPU, will the case be compatible or will you have to limit your choices to fit it, or would you just move to another case.
