 So what I found, and I was absolutely blown away that they still make these, was the old metal Stanley toolboxes, or lunchboxes, and here it is. This is all metal construction, big heavy duty lashes, nice heavy duty handle, and the entire thing is 100% steel. You can get it in different colors. I chose the blue look here, open it up, you can see the inside, and it also has the thermos holder that you can put the Stanley thermoses in to hold them inside with your lunch as well

 I do have the thermos that goes along with this as well and I'll be doing a review on that thermos as well.  This thing will last you a lifetime, and it also has a lifetime warranty as well. It is BPA free, it's a 10 quart, and like I said, it does have a lifetime warranty. Now the only con that I have with this is it doesn't keep things cold as long, like a regular cooler would, which this is not a cooler, this is a lunchbox. So it puts you some ice packs in there, I've not had any problems, it's lasted me the entire day

 I do work in the construction trade, and we're out in the elements a lot, throwing a lunchbox around the truck, so on and so forth, and you can tell this thing has held up. Now durability, durability being the positive, and taking you back to a simpler day like your dad or your grandfather is the pros.  Stanley has always been known for their excellent customer service and support - maybe they will offer a molded insert or some sort of gasket for the inside of the lunchbox to address the gaps. Aside from the gaps, it seems like a very durable lunchpail overall. It sure beats the hell out of those zipper bags

 Also dust/dirt etc can get in. I would have given a higher rating if it sealed better when closed. No what I expected

 So holds the thermos pretty good. I'm also not very gentle with my lunchbox. Short of this being run over by a truck it's pretty much gotten all kinds of abuse from me and it's holding up very well. The only thing that is not holding up, it's still holding up because it's still one piece

 This is like the only plastic thing on this, everything else is steel metal. There is wear marks where the connection point right here on the bottom and here, this one is a little worse but so far it's held up. I'm assuming one of these days when I'm taking my lunch out to the truck this is just going to snap and that's going to fall to the ground but it's not a really big deal. Probably the worst part of the lunchbox is the plastic handle but other than that it shows no signs of wear and tear

 What's going on guys, today I'm going to do a review of the Stanley lunchbox and thermos. I got the lunchbox as a Father's Day gift because the lunchbox I had before was a cloth one with a plastic insulation liner and that just tore apart and I had been looking at old style lunchboxes like 40's, 50's metal lunchboxes and my wife bought this one for me and I tested it through the summer months which is the months that really matter for keeping your food cold. Now what I use this for obviously is for my lunch at work, well not obvious you might not have known that, I use it for my lunch at work but the thing is I leave it in my truck for my 12 hour shift so it's in my truck for about 13-14 hours including drive time stuff like that and on 90 plus 95 plus degree days in the summer months this actually kept my food pretty cold. One big thing to note about this lunchbox is that it is unlined, no lining at all, it's just steel so keep that in mind as I'm going through this
