  The glass side panels reduce airflow even more so I only installed the clear panel and left the vented back panel in place.  Honestly for the cost I expected more from the case but feel somewhat disappointed.

  I purchased a vertical GPU kit, performance acrylic panels, and a tempered glass side kit from Streacom directly and QuietPC USA. The vertical GPU kit takes considerable time to install. Adding it greatly reduces the available space for cooling fans.  The case is supposed to have a standard acrylic panels included but mine came with the performance panels instead which was annoying since I ordered them from Streacom directly before the case arrived and the return shipping would have cost as much as the panels

Ultimate customization but…

 And so if you're just thinking of building an ITX system, this is most likely not for you. But if you're thinking of doing something special that is kind of part of your space, it's not just there to house components, then you kind of, you know, you have many options and Streakom is one of them. Now design wise, it is simple and elegant, nice symmetrical approach to perforation and the curves, top and bottom, left and right side. So it's quite awesome

 And with that too, my main sort of critique is with the mounting of the SSDs on the drive bracket, because that bracket is attached to the other bracket for the power supply. And then let's say removing one of the SSDs requires you to remove that entire thing. And that's just a lot of work for simple swap of a drive. And that could be mitigated by using one of the universal brackets potentially for your drives instead of using the drive bracket that is attached to the power supply bracket

 Good people, you know, I love me a small compact enclosure that is space efficient, because I'm not running in SLI, I'm not using mechanical spinning discs, I just want a nice, efficient cooler, a single GPU, a bunch of SSDs and a power supply that fits into this nice compact package. But it's also about space efficiency, because I moved away from having mid-towers and full towers beside my desk and stuff, because having this tiny little enclosure here that is super powerful without any compromises is awesome. And today, that case changes. Looks like customs have gracefully opened the package for me, thank you for ruining the unboxing experience and ripping this whole box open, come on

The ULTIMATE Mini ITX Case?  Streacom DA2 Review

An exceptional small case.

 I had the core components in within a few minutes and then I could have been moving on to the liquid cooling system, installing the radiator, the tube. It really is an easy case to build into considering its size. It's just incredible how easy this actually is. Now this little bracket is probably the most genius part of this case

 To remove the side panels on this case you just need to grab them from one side and flex them a little bit. There are four little rubber pieces in the corners which are very durable which attach the side panels. And there's also some anti-vibration rubber pieces just to prevent any contact of metal to metal which is certainly something you're not going to see with Strecom, you know anything that could create vibration or noise or scratching. They do think of every little detail

 It has slotted holes so that you can move it around for compatibility. We also have the power connection on the rear panel which has a cord on the inside to run to the power supply. Two expansion slots with stainless steel covers. The expansion slots are externally mounted with this little billet section which is a nice touch

 They have quite a vast range for such a small company and just about all of their products are focused on ITX and very compact cases, so they've certainly become experts at cramming a whole lot of hardware into a very small space. But where most of their other products are focused more on HTPC, this is one of the first products that are focused on high-end hardware, gaming and even liquid cooling. Yes, this case can fit up to a 280 millimeter radiator along with a full-sized GPU. I've become quite familiar with Strecom's signature having reviewed a few of their cases

 There's no motherboard tray here at all and instead your motherboard will mount to these two rail brackets at the rear. The approach is the same for your radiator and fans where the brackets can easily be repositioned on the top and bottom rails to accommodate different radiator sizes. You've got options for 120, 140, 240 and even up to a 280mm radiator that can fit in there and we'll take a look at that in just a minute. You can also mount things like pumps, reservoirs and additional drives, I just really wish that more than two brackets were included

 So the Streetcom DA2 has finally landed on the review table. It's a very interesting approach to an ITX small form factor case which competes against the likes of the NK-SAM1 and the Ghost S1 both in terms of price and hardware support. It does pack some unique features too like a modular interior and 280mm radiator support and much more that we'll be taking a look at in depth today. So Streetcom are commonly known for their fanless ITX enclosures that are commonly used in home theater PC type setups and also their open bench table which is an open test bench which I personally use and I really really love

The left and right side panels are sheer sandblasted-surface aluminum perforated with round holes for ventilation, and the front and top are plain, curvy aluminum expanses with slight interruptions for a port panel and nothing else. (The "V2" in the product name refers to some slight changes in the design made in late 2020, mostly around the location of some of the holes in the chassis; the original DA2 debuted in 2018.) Our test model was in aluminum silver; you can also get the DA2 V2 in black for the same price.
