 Putting on the gopro to the gimbals is a hassle and i would like to see a better retention system in the future. -the screws does not hold the gopro tightly. i found my screws coming loose after about 20 min but it doesnt seem like the gopro is in any danger of falling off ( as long as you install it right side up.) -Note: if you mount your gopro upside down, the gopro can slide sideways off of the bracket mounts

Wait for a better version. But it gets the job done

 Although the device works as advertised, there's room for improvements. The mounting bracket is too fragile with two very thin screws. I expected a more sturdy locking system. It doesn't allow the use of skeleton or another kind of camera protection so you can't use it under bad weather

Versatile and well made

  Pro tip: If you're going to use this with GoPro mounts, go to the hardware store and pick up a square wooden dowel and some industrial strength velcro. The gopro mount tends to not grip tightly enough, so if you hit a bump or something your gimbal will tilt and your remaining footage will be junk. To prevent this, cut a bit off the end of the dowel (quarter inch?) and place the velcro on top and bottom of the dowel, then sandwich that into the space in front of the gopro mount. That'll keep the tilt from changing

A little tall on top of a helmet, but gives awesome results.
