 Um, it hurts my back so I think this might hold up better. Let me go over the the pockets and stuff of this backpack. Um, first of all, this has a little shoe compartment at the bottom. you can put whatever the heck you want in here so let me just unzip that

 There is padding for the comfort. There is padding on the straps for comfort. There is, uh, there are chest straps and I think that's it. So overall, I am very happy with the features

 But when I wear backpacks anywhere, I'm always afraid that people might secretly unzip my backpack and take things out of it. So I'm all about a hidden quick access backpack, but I think this is a great compromise. and then back here here is one that is lined with a soft material that's probably for things like sunglasses or I guess your phone or whatever is a an item that you want to try to protect from you know, rubbing against your keys and whatnot. And then also back here is for the laptop and what shocked me about this was that I recently got this bad boy which is I think 17 17

I loved the concept of this bag. How great ! 3 bags in one. Unfortunately the zipper situation is a bit out of control. When in 5° mode the are 2 zippers to go through before you get out for your mid-night relief

Then you gotta try to figure out which one goes under which to get the bag back together. The zipper goes all the way around making it impossible to get some foot breeze if you overheat

Cool concept, bad execution

Maybe as a collection but not a necessity

Super comfortable but not as warm as expected

 I used it on top of my car camping pad the Therm-a-rest Luxury Map with R-6.0 value. The bag is very cozy feeling and did keep me warm overall. The reason for more that 1 star

 2. The double zipper. The zippers slide along very smoothly as long you pull back the lining material out of the way. Lets face it, no one wants to constantly guide the zipper along

 1. The wrap around zipper. As long as you are still the bag retains heat very well. But, once you move and the vacuum effect occurs, it sucks in the freezing air from all the way around you! When you're down to the undies in the bag, that can be quite a shock! Maybe this could be a good thing if you're prone to overheating??

Big hopes....bigger disappointment

  The next night, I switched to the 40 degree configuration to start and kept the down layer next to me to pull on top once I got cold.  This actually worked pretty well, as the down layer stayed in place on top of the bag, except now I was exposed to the zipper for the down layer inside the sleeping bag since the down layer zips inside the synthetic 40 degree layer.  While this combination was ideal for me as far as temp regulation went, the zipper exposure was often uncomfortable.

Good for transitioning temps.

 When you're in your bag you don't want the zippers rubbing against you (as most bags tend to have fabric covering the zipper on the inside). I plan to buy a sleeping bag liner to see if that helps, but it was definitely aggravating trying to sleep.

The light weight is also a huge plus. It also comes with a compression sack that has a fleece lining on the inside to double as a pillow- yay! The only downside to this bag is that I found the zippers are a bit annoying.
