 Okay, i'm looking around making sure we didn't miss anything before we go to the inside of the bag, so yeah, let's, let's continue on to the inside. There is a slash pocket right here that opens up it's very soft kind of felty like material here. It feels almost like a microfiber, but it's fuzzy as well. So it feels nice to the touch

 So that's just one thing to note: there there's a horseshoe zipper here that opens up and that's going to give us access to the inside of the bag here with a small organizer. So i have a pen on this side and then i've just got like my passport and field notes here. The one thing i wanted to show you that's interesting is this pocket here i would typically on pretty much every bag. I'Ve tested there's been enough space here to throw in like a little field, notes, notebook or my passport, but with this it's just slightly too small, so i usually put my notebook next to my pen, but in this case i threw it on this front

 Pull this out. I have a 16 inch macbook pro inside of here, so that fits in with ease i've, seen a lot of reviews that say that the laptop is suspended. The laptop compartment is suspended right, so normally what that does. Is that puts your laptop up here so that if you drop this bag on the ground, that frame sheet is going to hit first and then anything inside of the main compartment? Not not really the case with this, this iteration um, it's elevated a bit and it's separated from this bottom pot part, but i wouldn't really count on that to not slam against the ground

 So it's very slippery, which is great if it's shoved in a bag but even like the slipperiest stuff and smallest stuff can be just cranked in with this compression strap on the side. So i think that's a really nice design. You have this kind of tarpaulin coated material here on the outside and then i'll just show you too, with a hydro flask here this one's a 21 ounce that can fit here on this side as well. So if you have a smaller bottle that goes in, this is kind of the modern water bottle size and you can crank that down too so very nice water bottle, straps or compression straps here to help with the water bottle, and then they can also help with Just if your bag is less full, you can crank this down and continue to give your bag a bit of a lower profile as well, which is nice as far as the anatomy of these straps

Fits nicely on back, roomy, but too heavy and falls over

 It features a heavily padded back panel with these super comfy mesh pads and a center channel for maximum airflow and breathability, both vertically and horizontally. The shoulder straps are also heavily pad a mesh and a contoured and feature custom injection molded phone kinda. Like memory foam. They had these flex zones which offer incredible support and alleviate the hot spots commonly found on the clavicle or the collarbone, and they also help prevent pressure, point strain and neck strain, especially when carrying heavy loads

 This is my 13-inch MacBook Pro and you can see there's plenty of space for a 15-inch laptop. It'S also a suspended laptop sleeve ie. It doesn't reach the end of the bag, so if, in the case you accidentally drop your bag, the laptop won't be seriously damaged by the drop impact because it's suspended from the base. This compartment can also be used to house a hydration bladder and the sipping tube can be fed through this little port

 The last compartment is a foam padded laptop compartment. It can house up to a 15 inch laptop. This is my 13-inch MacBook Pro and you can see there's plenty of space for a 15-inch laptop. It'S also a suspended laptop sleeve ie

 Now, let's get on to the compartments, the Recon features a quick stash pocket that is ideal for chucking in a jacket or hat or some gloves, or something that you need real, quick access to it's secured by these compression straps that we mentioned earlier. So there is a bit of a space to put in bigger items as well. The pocket doesn't have a zipper closure, though, so if you have more precious cargo you're better off putting that in the zippered compartments above that is a small fleece, lined zippered compartment ideal for a phone or sunglasses. The next compartment is our organization compartment

 Mesh wall handle almost all North Face bags. Have been endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association certifying that these bags have been engineered to carry heavy loads whilst ensuring maximum economic support to the carrier. Now, let's get on to the compartments, the Recon features a quick stash pocket that is ideal for chucking in a jacket or hat or some gloves, or something that you need real, quick access to it's secured by these compression straps that we mentioned earlier. The backpack is good but a tad bit small for me. I could fit in a planner, a 2-inch binder, a spiral notebook, a small folder, a medium size textbook, laptop, iPad, a pencil pouch, and glasses case in the largest pocket. The fit was snug. Good build quality but I just need a little bit more room

 So that's really important that your zip zone fail on you and these are all YKK zips, as I mentioned before, it's the best brand to get you zips from so go into the back here cool. So this is your laptop section quite well padded on both sides believe you can also put in a hydration pack clip it into that that just comes out and then do have a hole going through this remember back to put the the tube through. So let me just put my 13-inch laptop into that, so plenty of space in this bag for a 15-inch laptop as well beautiful place line. You know real quality back

 You have a whistle for drawing attention just in case you need it and then also you can strap that across your chest and you've also got this strap down the base here as well. So you put that around your waist if you're going on sort of a longer hike, super cool bag really really popular as well at the top. Quite a durable handle like this bag is going to last you for many many years. It costs a little bit more, but it does last a long time and that's exactly the kind of product that that we want to sell it rush faster

 To put you know whatever you need quick access to front little compartment here. This is like a faux fur line, really good, probably for Sony's stuff like that or you could stick your phone in there really cool quality, YKK zips, all the tech up on this prop on this projects going to be super high quality, because it's not faced. After all, your compression straps on the side here, so you know, if you need to pull your load in closer to you, then you can also drink bottle holders on both sides. Yeah then, on the back quite a bit of quite a bit of tech, a really cool super padded back panel with back support, really durable, straps here quite well padded

 The bottom is inclined versus flat. It is a heavy bag even when empty! It is not very big. I thought it would be much bigger, but this fits my computer and maybe a few books. If you’re looking for something that would carry a lot of school books this is not the bag! My plan is to use this for a flight and I was able to fit all my diaper bag items without any issues

Pros and cons

 The waist strap is removable if you prefer not to use it or have it hanging. It took some getting used to having the curve in the back for support but I'm glad it does, it's very comfortable to wear. I took this bag on our trip to San Diego. It went with me everywhere from the airport, airplane, hotel, and around downtown

Well made & looks great aesthetically. However it is very small as far as pocket/compartment space. There are 2 large pockets and if you were to put a sweatshirt in each one it would be a bit uncomfortable to carry on your back. If using it for a daypack for clothing I would not recommend this backpack

Well made but not much room

 Since it's so stiff everywhere it's hard to throw on and off easily as well. Comfort is my main factor and it wasn't there w/the straps so I returned it. Other than that it's absolutely well crafted bag.

The bag is absolutely beautiful with quality materials, zipper is super smooth and strong, the shoulder straps look high tech and outstanding, the back panel is stiff and supportive. Those are the first impressions and I was excited to try it out so I loaded it up, unfortunately the high tech shoulder straps are stiff and uncomfortable on my shoulders and the back panel though seems very ergonomic, is very heavy and the padding seems excessive. Since it's so stiff everywhere it's hard to throw on and off easily as well. Comfort is my main factor and it wasn't there w/the straps so I returned it

 The bag has a stiff backing and angle so that the bag must fall forward and not backwards to protect a laptop however this feature is also a negative for me since the bag is constantly face done picking up surface dirt and grime. The stiff backing and high quality construction are a pro and con as well considering it became heavy to carry causing back discomfort. The shoulder straps were comfortable and made with women in mind. Love the bag but not my go to bag to carry due to these reasons
