I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

So far this towel works as advertised but it is far from comfortable and the fact they don't recommend using fabric softener only adds to that. You do get dry quickly and the towel itself dries quickly (no surprise since its super thin) but it will take a while to see if this stays "must smell-proof" or not. I don't hate it, but for the price paid I definitely do not love it either.

Please dont spend 80 bucks on this towel! I could have gotten many towels for this price lol. Yes it is absorbent in a weird way and it is super soft after a wash or 2. The towel is already threading at the seams along the sides and a few of the waffle texture things are starting to fray only after a couple months of LIGHT use.

Good towel but not worth $50...

No way are these worth the cash. I generally trust Wirecutter but this was a huge miss for us. Almost scratchy in texture, did not dry any faster than towels with 4x the softness and thickness.

 Additionally, the towel weight while I know is part of the design does not wrap you in warmth when you are drying off after a shower or bath like a towel should. Finally, despite the supposed “quick drying” functionality, the towels have developed a funky odor after normal everyday use and regular biweekly washing. I have two and take good care of them but still they have a weird odor. Given the price and the poor functionality for a towel, I would not recommend these

Great idea but poor execution and all around not great towel

 All in all, the absorbency and overall quality of the towel outweigh the minor complaints I have about it and would recommend it.

 Since I’ve had this problem with many brands of new, all-cotton towels in the past few years (something about the way the cotton is processed now?), I washed it in hot water before I evaluated it. On the upside, it didn’t shrink much, and remained a nice, big size. On the downside, it wasn’t much more absorbent after washing than before. It may dry a little quicker than my thick terry towels, but that’s probably because it absorbs less water in the first place

 I don’t love the “clingy” feel of these vs thick terry cloth. And it’s already got a couple of picks / hanging threads. YMMV, but these are not for me.
