 This is the Therm-a-Rest Argo Blanket. It has a casual vibe that is perfect for hanging out at the cabin or the camp site, but it also has technical features not found on the run of the mill blanket. The shell fabric is a soft polyester and the compressible synthetic fill offers excellent water resistance and does a really good job of delivering insulating warmth at a low weight. The blanket itself measures 78 inches by 72 inches, but it weighs just one pound 10 ounces

I purchased this last minute when forecasted temperatures were going to be lower than expected for a camping trip, and it worked wonders in adding an extra bit of warmth when the mercury dipped into the 30's.  I used this as an outermost insulating layer over our sleeping bags. The loops along the edge of the blanket allowed me to run paracord underneath our sleeping pads so that the blanket wouldn't slide off either of us during the night. This is extremely important since the synthetic materials of most sleeping bags and lightweight blankets are slippery

 And when you're done with it, you just can unzip this, it becomes a pocket, which I flip it. And you just shove it in. Can it be faster than that? There you go. Can't be easier than that

 So it's pretty interesting for that and it doesn't cost nothing pretty much. Another good thing about this blanket is at the bottom here, there's a string, so it's cinchable. So you can just like pull and when you're going to pull it, it's going to tie it up. So you can make it go around your sleeping pad if you want

 But you can tie it up and you just loop it around your mat, your sleeping pad, and that way your blanket becomes a bit like a sleeping bag because you just covered with it and it's not going to go anywhere. So that way if you move or anything, everything will stay in there. So it's pretty interesting for that and it doesn't cost nothing pretty much. Another good thing about this blanket is at the bottom here, there's a string, so it's cinchable

 Flip that, flip it out, zip it back, and you have the blanket. Darker inside, right outside. Just pretty cool. Very very comfortable, very very nice

Not warm but lovely versatility

 So really simple construction there. The synthetic insulation used for this blanket is a little bit unique and a little bit different from regular synthetic materials. It is called 37.5, which it has been determined that 37

 It is called 37.5, which it has been determined that 37.5 percent relative humidity is the point at which your body feels most comfortable. So basically what this insulation is meant to do is work with your natural body mechanisms to maintain that relative humidity

 It has got snaps along the side here that you can actually match it up with a Therm-a-Rest universal sheet. I don't have that sheet on here today, but it snaps really easily to that so that you can pair your sleeping pad, the sheet and this blanket. Now down towards the bottom there is a cinch cord. Got it tucked around the bottom of the sleeping pad here just to seal in more warmth

 And then the underneath fabric, the fabric that would come in contact with your skin, that is polyester material, but it is very, very soft. So two different materials there on the bottom and on the top to keep you comfortable. As you can see, this is a rectangular shape. It is basically a rectangular blanket

 Weighs less than claimed by producer - 547g. Has no separate staff sack because it is integrated as a zipped pocket in a very convenient way.  The four stars - because, against the label claim (145x190cm), it is 135x180cm, 10 cm shorter in both lengths and width; and that is a significant difference for me as I’d like it to be even larger than these 145x190. I don’t understand this - saving on material on expense of the brand reputation?!  Manufactured in China

 It's a solid product. It really is. There's not a whole lot that can mess up. And it's comfortable and it works good

 And it doesn't have a stuff sack by itself that you could then stuff a shirt into. It is one piece, which is a bonus. It's like one pound, 10 ounces, I think, is how much this thing weighs. 72 inches by 78 inches, which I know I haven't pulled up

 But it does have that easy pack down factor and uses it below. So that is the Argo blanket. It comes in three different colors. I will put links down below

 Like I said, the polyester lining that they have on it is very comfortable against the skin. They do have a drawstring at the foot. So, if you look, this is the foot of it. In the center, there is a drawstring

Loved the blanket. It’s comfy , light and looks cool It’s warm enough for 60 degree temps. Anything else I hope it’s not your only blanket. We bought it as our second camping blanket
