 Most pads with foam inside are really comfortable, but they're too bulky and heavy to backpack with.  So it has those two cinches there to help it stay tight while you're traveling with it. So we'll undo those. And then a little toggle. All right

 So I would say two water bottles across water bottles across and a water bottle tall plus two or three inches. And it went right in the bag. That's great. All right

 Okay, so I think the conclusion on this is it's not self inflating, so I'm just gonna keep blowing it up. Okay, so I've locked it down. We're at 8,000 feet, so I got a little dizzy blowing that up. I had to blow up the whole thing

 So I wouldn't really call this a self inflating mattress or a sleeping pad. It's been compressed for a long time coming out of the package, but it's doing zero inflating whatsoever. So I'm going to have to blow this up with my mouth. It's really not doing any self inflating at all

 So you can use it basically year-round other than extreme conditions. All right, so packing up your pad is sometimes a challenge. We've seen pads come back in all different shapes and forms. So I'll show you how to do it properly

 So let's say I'm going to lay on it and kind of see if it feels comfortable. If not, I can let a little air out. If I want to be firmer, I can add some more air, but very good to go. And this pad's really nice because it has a really good R-value, a really good thermal resistance value

 We're going to fold it in half and we're going to start rolling from the toe. So from the bottom to the top, trying to keep it in line as we go. We're going to do this again, so don't worry if you don't get all the air out right away. Now really important as we get to the end, we want to close the valve, okay? And now we're going to unroll it a second time with the valve closed and get a little tighter roll this time with less air in it

 First thing we're going to do is we're going to open the valve and let some of the air out. So we're going to flip it over. We're going to fold it in half and we're going to start rolling from the toe. So from the bottom to the top, trying to keep it in line as we go

 Put your Nalgene bottle, your water bottle, that's like a level on the sleeping pad and kind of see which end, I mean, longitudinally, see which end's higher and kind of put your head up higher. But we can test it out. So let's say I'm going to lay on it and kind of see if it feels comfortable. If not, I can let a little air out

 I actually bought the extra small first, and that was way too small. That was like cut off right here, and that's how big the extra small was. I was trying to go super light and super small, but I wouldn't go with the extra small unless you're like a baby or something.
