Despite the flaws, it's still a solid, reliable watch for very little money.

The 40mm weekender chrono is quiet, it isn't too ovelry detailed which I hate on chronos, and has a great price plus they always have a good selection of colours. I'm not a fan of nato straps but they do go well with this watch.

This Timex Weekender chronograph was my everyday watch while I was in my undergraduate years in university. Its matte blue dial and shiny case finish quickly attracts the attention of others without having to show boast its strengths. I find it a watch that best exemplifies smart casual style and fits as a nice finishing touch with most outfits.

I had the Timex Weekender since it first came out as my first watch, loved it so much, then I was introduced to **Junghans,** a German watch company which has been around since 1861. I was mesmerized by every single detail, the simplicity, the minimalism with attention to details, the quality, the dome. Designed by Max Bill, a Swiss designer, graphic artist, and architect, Bill was known for his distaste for shallow design. You could feel a unique beauty in all if his designs.

I love my Timex Weekender and I still wear it from time to time! A great beginner automatic watch (it doesn't need a battery, it winds itself on your wrist) I could recommend would be a Seiko 5. They're not too expensive and can help introduce you to the other side of the watch world that doesn't use batteries. But take it slow and enjoy your pieces, you've already got a great one right there!
