I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 The leather dangler style TOPS sell as an alternitive on their site for $44 did not work for me either. I do not like dangler style knife sheaths if you run with them they are flopping all over. The knife itself is of high quality as it should be for the price tag. Its a good utility knife and built like a tank

Good heavy duty knife, but!

The black coating is effective but it doesn't last forever at that point I would have had the whole blade satin finished so I could start aging the whole blade.The blackened tarnish look I grew up on but for people who like their blade's shiny..

  *1095 Carbon Tool Steel-that's what Schrade USA used for their fixed blades for the Old Timer line.  *Nice comfortable handle with quality material-Old Timer's were made with sawcut delrin(acetal resin) while this uses canvas micarta.Both are great materials and handle damage well.I like the palm swell on this Fieldcraft and the brown keeps it old school looking

This is a non alloyed steel with 0.90-1.03% in carbon and through it's purity it becomes much harder than stainless steel in heat treatments.Take that hard edge and a lot of carbon and you see why carbon steel is used for axe heads and high-speed tool applications like lawnmower blades and drill bits

.it's a damned fine knife!Excuse the name of the review by mentioning the Old Timer knife brand as that's not to deflect anyone from this knife.However in ways this knife is similar to an Old Timer.

 It's tough. It can do almost anything you want, and has stood up to having had the crap beat out of it.  I did order the leather sheath, and it is quality. It is just as sturdy as the knife

Very good knife.

 It sharpens very quickly and easily, however, being 1095, it will will wear easily. Remember, it will rust easily too if cared for. The handle is the most comfortable I’ve found imo. I have ESEEs, and even a couple of Bark Rivers

 This is a mid-upper knife. Not a “prestige” knife. If you’re new to knives, and your sharpening game is mediocre, and you want a great durable knife, that’s above a mora, or imo, an esee, and performs well and looks good doing it, this is your knife. The fire scraper on the butt is dumb

 It’s a great value, and a great knife for the collection. It performs very well, so long as you know what to expect from what steels. This is a mid-upper knife. Not a “prestige” knife

Great Knife. Great Value. Great Ergo. Not perfect. 154CM version is worth the extra money.

 On my first outing I used this blade to start a fire using 3 different methods just to see how it performed.  On the downside, the sheathe and the notch at the base of the handle combined to gouge me pretty good while carrying it. The worst part about that is the notch is not very good at striking a fero rod and I even broke a rod while trying to use it.  Overall, I would definitely buy this but I am looking for a better sheath

First off the heft of the blade is great and the grind works really well for outdoor tasks

Excellent bushcraft knife

 It will not slice smoothly due to thickness. The balance seems off due the weight as well. It will be a great wood processor, but will not be a good overall knife. It is far too heavy for a neck knife and will drag on your pants if on a belt

It seems well made, but the blade it so think that it makes the knife heavy. It feels like having a hatchet in my hand more than a knife. I have no doubt this will excel in batoning, but it is heavy for other tasks. If I were to try to use this for slicing it would act more like a chopper
