 There's not a whole lot of meat on them Unless you get it from like a butcher But they're still very very good very good Um, but in this grill here, you've got your your pan that goes down. I recommend putting a little full on it Before you smoke anything because it's going to drip and it's going to wind up corroding your pan that you've got there Those are always replaceable, but still Um, keep keep your grates nice and clean Once you're done smoking it But all this comes out so your your grate comes out your pan comes out and there's a um, there's a box that goes over the actual fire, um, the fire pit that's down inside there and What I do is I take it all apart when i'm done smoking Any kind of meat and just take a shot back and just vacuum out all the ashes out of there Vacuum out the ashes down in the fire pot. It just it makes it so much more Just cleaner and it starts up better the next time you're going to turn it on because it doesn't have all that ash down in the fire pot um Unfortunately, it's not not anywhere on here that you can drop the ashes off or drop the ashes down um From the bottom so you got to kind of take it all apart But you should do that anyways, and I don't know every couple of months down here near where the the grease runs off To the trap you'll realize it'll start to cake and and grow Uh a huge amount of grease down there and I what I do is I just get something like a flat scraper just scrape all that out and uh And just get rid of it. Yes, it could affect the taste of your meat um But anyways, this is the trailer pro series 22

 I got the I mean, they've got some of the best sours and the best IPAs, their IPA Tropicalli is amazing Anyways, this grill I'd say holds about half a bag of pellets This is the skeet that I've got here now And I've gotten here now So half a bag of pellets would be somewhere around 10 pounds I could be off buying a few pounds but That's just kind of what I've noticed Let me go and open it up for you There's this beat back rib, I'll tell you about the three here in the back Um, those are actually beef back ribs and this little one here and then these are beef short ribs and they're boneless Never had them before but i'm checking them out to see what they see what they taste like um But if you've never done beef back ribs, you need to do them. If you love ribeye, you'll love these um Essentially, it's the part of the rib where they cut the ribeye off and uh It's I mean, it's amazing. It's only available in Georgia Merton, Athens, Georgia some of the best beer you ever drink. Disappointed

 And then once flames start coming out of the fire pot we're going to turn to shut down, switch off, let the grill cool down, then we put all of our pieces back in. So let's see if we can get flames coming out of the fire pot here, that's what we're waiting for. Alright, with our flames coming out of the fire pot now we're going to move it to shut down. Turn on cycle and let it cool down, once it's cooled down then we'll put all of our stuff back in here

 Alright, now that we have pellets inside we're going to turn to high, it's all the way over to here. Alright, this is the fire pot, when the pellets start falling into there we'll throttle down the temperature. We're going to go down to the shut down cycle to reset the hot rod and then with the pellets still in the fire pot we'll turn the temperature back to smoke. Alright, I'm starting to see some kind of smoking from here, you see the auger down in there slowly moving

 It comes with a lot of packing material, packaged really well. It's got the legs I have to put on. There's a couple of leg supports, some of the handles and then really we can start using it. This one comes with the two probes

 After the pellets have ignited we close the door, turn the temperature dial to any cooking setting. Before we use it now, before we use the grill, we'll need to be seasoned, turn the temperature dial to high and let it run for 45 minutes with the door closed. So we'll wait for that to start smoking then we'll shut it, turn on high and let it sit for 45 minutes. Alright guys, so thanks for watching the video, stay tuned for more content

Traeger Pro Series 22 Wood Pellet Grill Unboxing, Assembly And Start Up!

 Third cook was grilled meatloaf. I expected to just set the Traeger to cook and check the meat when the time was up. The pellets tunneled and stopped feeding in to the fire pot so the temperature dropped and I had to just finish cooking in the oven as it was taking too long to get the grill to restart. The smoky flavor of the meatloaf was excellent though

I would like to know why you bought your traeger instead of other brands.

I started with Traeger and got a good deal at Costco.  My family had one and I liked the food quality.  I didn't do any research but it has worked out well.  I bought my ironwood 885 at a ridiculously good price so happy with the upgrade since I didn't pay full price.
