 I don't know if that counts. I don't think it's the same. I don't think that they're equal, but I still appreciate the humor. It also gives you the internal temperature of what it's stuck in, and then it uses those two temperatures to calculate a cook time, which is one of the cool features that I always loved about the meter probes

 And lastly, I don't know if this is a negative either, and sorry if I'm wishy washy on some of this stuff, but this is a brand new product and I've only got to use it for two weeks. Normally, I use stuff for a month or two months before I give a full review, but the new pan system that's in the bottom. You cannot use a foil liner in it, which is like my old one did, so when I was cleaning I would just take the foil liner out and throw it away and put a new one in, which made cleaning pretty easy. This one, you can't do that

 You didn't think I was going to sign off of a smoker review without smoking a little meat. We did a brisket. I actually cooked this brisket overnight. I started it at like, it was like an 18 pound brisket, so I started it at like eight o'clock last night, and then it didn't finish until like three or four o'clock this afternoon

 Other than that though, I think this thing is a fantastic grill. I have loved cooking on this thing, I really have. It's huge, it cooks really well, and if they get a few of these little bugs worked out from the beta app and get everything cooking once it's in full production, I mean, I really think this might be damn close to the perfect pellet grill. Picked up my first pellet grill this last weekend. Cannot like it more.

 Beginning with our fully loaded burger patty test, it gives us a closer look at how well a grill performs at medium high temperatures. All 28 patties turned out great without any juggling or shuffling. Next the max high temperature evenness test. We also decided to run the induction side burner through its paces

 The even flow heat shield checked out as 18 gauge 304 stainless steel and above it the easy clean drip tray is 19 gauge 304 stainless steel. Traeger's Timberline XL is solidly built and packed with features, but will it grill? Let's find out in the performance section. The reps told me that it was basically the same thing as the Timberline series, with a few structural modifications, that made it better than the Timberline in their opinion. They basically said it was the top of the line product and the single best pellet grill they would recommend from the Traeger line.

I was stoked about the purchase, as I had been contemplating a pellet grill for 6 months now. I read multiple blog posts and internet rankings, all of which ranked the Traeger Pro as one of the top 2 pellet grills out there. So I figured the Timberline series has to be better than the Pro series.

I then started reading on Reddit about Treager’s poor build quality, poor customer service, high temperature fluctuation during smokes, poor wood pellets, etc. And now I’m second guessing my purchase.

Basically, I still have about a week before the Silverton 810 ships, so I can return it pretty easily in the next few days. I was wondering what people think are the best 1 or 2 pellet grills available for $1,800 or less?

I was considering the Yoder YS480S, RecTec RT-700, Camp Chef Woodwind WiFi 36, and Green Mountain Jim Bowie. But obviously am open to any grill. I just wanted to poll all the smoke masters of reddit on which grill they would recommend for my budget.

Best pellet grill for under $1,800

Looking for advice on a smaller sized pellet grill for apartment balcony. Size could be as big as Camp Chef 24.

Must have a good SEAR feature as I need my steaks done right. Also, budget is around $1k. Don't care about the tech stuff, prefer solid build.

Am shopping for my first pellet grill. 

Reviews on the BK seem great except for its inability to handle medium and larger pellets. 

Traeger seems to have temperature fluctuation issues, but not sure if that's overblown. Like that it's double walled (I will be doing cold weather smoking).

The value of the BK seems great but I'm not too price sensitive. 

Would love this sub's thoughts and advice.
