 However, it is bulky to pack if you are packing light, and it is not made for small people. I am 5', and my proportions were to small for this to fit comfortably. I am sure that if you are average to large it would be a wonderful travel pillow. This is why I gave it a 3 in some categories

 This has happened the last two times I used it on transatlantic flights, so it's not just a one-off. I tried to maneuver the pillow so the foam part was under my chin, however it doesn't twist left to right much since the back piece is flattened to fit against the seat - the design is great, I just need a soft connection between the foam pieces.  For reference, I have a wide and short neck, I'm not a skinny dude, so you may have a skinny neck and be very comfortable. I cannot quite connect both foam cushioned sides around the front of my neck which leaves the velcro exposed against my skin

Summary: supportive, storage bag isn't great, leave time to air-out before use.  After reading online reviews, this seemed like a good choice for some upcoming long flights. Unfortunately, I got it just a couple days before I was leaving, not quite giving it enough time to lose the smell left from manufacturing, which I found unpleasant.  While using it, it was very supportive regardless of sleeping position (my chin tended to fall forward)

Swayed by the Hype - and Disappointed

 So, I rarely get much sleep (unless I get blessed to a free seat upgrade!). This pillow does sit a little higher on the neck and helps stop the head bob. The velcro strap is adjustable so you can make it fit you as you need, but it does seem pretty cheap and looks like it won't take many trips before it falls off. Of course, some of that could have been the ridiculously small legroom I had especially after the "large" dude in front of me slammed his seat back into my knees and left it there until landing! but not really! I'm an average size/weight, 5'4" person, and this made me feel like I was wearing a neck brace. Then, the slant at the back (which I thought was the most brilliant design feature of the pillow), didn't seem to work with any of the 4 plane seats I sat in for my overseas trip.
