I prefer the Uni-ball Signo RT1 Retractable Gel Ink Pen, Ultra Micro Point 0.28mm, Rubber Grip, Violet Ink. I can’t find refills, but I use the ink cartridge in my pen. Nice and smooth, but also a very fine line.

Love this pen

Great pen. Super smooth. No smudging. Much better than the PILOT G2 which I find quite scratchy to write with.

Not bad.

I am looking for a smooth writing gel or roller ball pen, something for every day use. This pen will do OK, not my fave but it isn't bad.

Uni-ball Signo RT1 0.38 mm Blue Black Gel Review — The Pen Addict

(This is a guest review by Brian Draghi. Find Brian on Twitter @Sketchscape) I have enjoyed the retractable Signo RT series of pens for while now and they have been working well as-is, or at least so I thought. Uni-ball recently released an updated version of the Signo RT called the Signo RT1 with a...

Review: uni-ball Signo RT1, Gel Pen, 0.28mm

Not a lot of all-plastic pens look impressive, but the uni-ball Signo RT1 manages to pull it off with its all-black “stealth” style. It also has a rubber grip section that extends all the way to the tip of the pen, making it very comfortable to hold. And I love the design of its knock retracting mec...

Value Menu: Uniball Signo RT1 (0.38 mm, Blue Black)

As a $2.25 pen, the Uniball Signo RT1 is definitely from the “value menu” of pens, but that doesn’t mean that it’s lacking in performance. On the contrary, this 0.38 mm Signo RT1 writes first time, every time, and has one of the crispest and cleanest lines that I can recall. I’ve been a fan of the U...

Bought this pen yesterday. Ink is a bit thick, so I replaced the cartridge with a Uni-Ball Signo. Only other criticism is that the bumps on the grip is a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise it's a nice pen

This compared to the Pilot 0.38 mm

I am a med student who writes pages of notes on a daily basis and really like these pens. I have used them for 2 weeks nonstop. Okay so if you are really a pen person, you know that the only "best pens" are these and the pilot 0.38 mm pens. I mean lets be real here. I have tried all brands (American...

A minimalist-looking gel pen for fine-tip lovers

This pen has an understated, single-color barrel design. It writes smoothly with vivid inks and very thin lines.

Love the Fine Point, 0.28mm, Makes Impression on Paper, Lime Green is Light

I like the product. I can definately write small with them and probably more precise with practice. The blue black is a unique color that I really like. The lime green is very light. In order to use the lime green color, I had to write with much more pressure. It didn’t tear the paper, but did make ...
