The best cheap MMO gaming mouse that we've tested is the UtechSmart VENUS. It's a wired model with a 12-button side panel, two CPI switching buttons below the scroll wheel, and an additional button next to its left click. You can reprogram all buttons using its companion software, so you'll have plenty of options for binding all your spells, potions, and abilities in-game. Plus, it has onboard memory, meaning you can still use your custom settings on computers without the software installed.

The two CPI buttons allow you to make on-the-fly adjustments to the set CPI in precise steps of 50 without requiring the software. Also, it feels well-built and has a thumb rest and textured body for extra grip and comfort. It also comes with eight 2.5g weights so you can customize the weight distribution, although it's still heavy without any weights installed. Thankfully, its low lift-off distance means you can easily reposition the mouse without having to lift it too high off the surface, helping to ensure the sensor doesn't register your movements accidentally.

Unfortunately, its side buttons feel quite a bit mushier than the left- and right-click buttons. Also, its click latency is relatively high for a gaming mouse, so it won't feel as responsive as more premium options. Lastly, the braided cable is stiff and creates a lot of drag on desks and mousepads. With that said, it's still a great mouse with lots of programmable inputs and customization if you're looking for an inexpensive option for your MMO gaming sessions.

It going guys Eber here with Harbor Canucks and you techsmartt has released an interesting product for those gamers who rely on multiple controls at the tip of the thumb specifically for MMOs and strategy gaming. This is the Venus MMO Mouse priced at hundred dollars. You tic Smart, has gone with a nice ergonomic shape like proper ring and pinky finger, support, plus a small lip for your thumb

 There is an additional button for your pointer finger located at the tip of the left flick as well as the DPI shift buttons placed behind the scroll wheel with five dpi settings and clearly visible dpi indicators. The scroll wheel is quite loose without clearly defined scroll steps. That'S disappointing, but it is rubberized and easy to press. The profile shift is placed at the bottom of the mouth, so it's slightly inconvenient needing to flip it to change your profiles, but it helps to have a physical switch rather than software

 That could be larger, but it does help to separate the thumb from hitting these side buttons. The soft touch rubber surface in the mouth feels excellent, although it will wear out as time passes and we've gotten accustomed to aluminum frames on gaming mice, so the Venus feels weak and at this price point we'd expect more. At 150 grams to weight is average, but it's always great to add a few more grams for those who prefer a heavier Mouse. So you can twist the bottom circular plate which exposes little inserts for additional weights

Am I the only one who's a stickler for the middle button?

To me it's as important as the main clicks and I'm really disappointed when I end up with a mouse with a stiff one. 

Especially in the journey to find the perfect mouse I just can't stand stiff middle buttons which annoy me while browsing and even more so while gaming (as in most BR games you have to double press it to point to an enemy).

Does anyone have a different preference? To me the middle click should be soft and as easy as possible to press. So far my favorite is on the G305, but I'm also happy with Glorious and Burst Pro ones (getting Viper Mini tomorrow).

The underrated Middle Mouse Button.

 Also, while the sensor on our unit is reasonably consistent, it's moderately inaccurate and undershoots the set CPI somewhat during slow cursor movements and significantly during faster movements. There&#39;s customization software that allows you to adjust a range of settings; however, it&#39;s only compatible with Windows and only allows you to have one custom profile at a time.

The Best Cheap Gaming Mouse - Spring 2022

 The buttons themselves are alright, they'll definitely do the job. The scroll wheel is good, though I wish it tilted like my G600 too. But as that's a hardware thing, I can accept that tradeoff for wireless connectivity. Clicks are not offensively loud like some mice, which I'm definitely grateful for as I'll be using this while traveling

 The driver software is included via a very snazzy looking business card that flips out into a baby USB drive. It does the win+r command and types in a command to open a Dropbox with the software files. The buttons themselves are alright, they'll definitely do the job. The scroll wheel is good, though I wish it tilted like my G600 too

Unmappable DPI buttons and no multi-button support...an average mouse at best

 . . not happening. With the same gentle grip that would allow my previous mouse to be lifted and moved this one shifts and slides in my hand

 I need a mouse that has convenient and easy to use buttons in numbers sufficient to assign a button to every available movement. This does not evenly remotely apply to the UTechSmart. The number of buttons is sufficient but the placement is not suited to fast and accurate use. The thumb button locations would require months of training to get all the button locations coded into muscle memory

I want to like this mouse and I just don't

 Great ergo/build. Smallish though for grown men narrow spacing between the 'top part' and the mmo button area. Ok software, not too much on features but does all you want. The gaming products including their MMO mice are not very comfortable for larger hands

 I love the glow feature because it helps me remember to change profiles depending on which game I want to play and it's also just aesthetically pleasing (lol!). Like all the other reviewers have said the mouse is also just super ergonomic, it is probably one of the most comfortable gaming accessories I have ever used. If you are on a budget but need a new gaming mouse this is definitely a great option.  For the price, quality and level of customer service I would definitely buy again and recommend to any of my friends who are considering a customize-able gaming mouse

 I don't play competitive games and like having a mouse like this for MMO's and sandbox games like Ark that have a lot of actions that we can hotkey. Overall I think this mouse will still fit my needs and I have always loved the design. The only other mouse I've ever seen that was similar is by Razr but their products have always felt really cheap for how expensive they are. This mouse is half the price and feels a lot nicer

  The buttons and scroll wheel feel as nice as I expected. The side buttons are a little less mushy than the wired version, but to be honest that never bothered me much.
