Hi everyone so I have made just a few additions since my last post

I recently acquired the Softube Tape for the tape machine and the Brainworx SSL 4000 E for my console. I plan
to put these across every track as if i’m working on a real mixing console. I feel like this whole thing is me role playing but with music production lol.

Just to recap, I also have the Arturia V collection, Waves LA2A and 1176, and the stock Logic Pultec and Neve EQs.


I’m open to hearing any suggestions I should add or mixing and production techniques that they would have used in the 80s

This question is definitely a little self-serving as I'm upgrading my home recording setup from a 10 year old MacBook Pro that can't even run two instances of a neural DSP plugin to a new Mac mini and I'm looking for some new plugins to up my game. Eventually I'd like to end up with most of the Neural DSP guitar plugins because I'm a big fan of how they sound but beyond that I'm pretty clueless. Fire away!

Reverb Plugin Advice

Vallhalla Vintage Verb is really affordable and insane quality for the price. They have a lot of different algorithms in that one reverb, and a few of them are basically just "make it sound big."

Looking for a reverb plug that sounds like MASSIVE’s. I really like the huge settings on it - it doesn’t really sound like a specific space, just adds a lot of decay. Anyone know what I’m talking about/know a plug-in that does that?
