 If you are looking to build a gaming PC as small as possible under 10 liters, both of these cases are great options, really could swing either way. If you guys are interested in the Velka 5, you can find it linked down below in the description. As always, a huge thanks for watching and I will see you all in the next one.

 These two coolers can run an i5 at full load, with no issues, and perhaps an i7 if you're prepared to reduce the voltage. This is one area where the slightly bigger competitor to the Velka 5, the Dan A4 SFX, has a significant lead, where you can install a 92mm liquid AIO and run something a bit more powerful. For the GPU, you're going to be fine with pretty much anything that will fit in this case. I did notice the Velka 5 though running just slightly warmer than other sandwich style layout cases, and this is probably due to the front panel not being ventilated

 That way you do have a bit more CPU cooling headroom. However, if you're just going to build a gaming system, then the Velka 5 is absolutely fine. It'll power the i5-9400 and cool it and the Ryzen 5 3600 as well. The Cryorig C7G in there is powerful enough for either of those CPUs

 That includes the riser cable, so that puts it 40 dollars underneath the Dan A4 SFX, which is currently an even 200. Now, I don't believe that 40 US dollars is going to be a deal breaker for most people, but feel free to correct me down below. Here's what I think it really comes down to. If you need the extra CPU cooling performance, definitely go with the Dan A4 SFX paired with the Asetek 645 LT

Velka 5 - Full Length GPU in a 5.7L Case!

Man, everyone and their mother on the r/nvidia, r/buildapc and this subreddit are wondering if their cases are big enough for the 4090 release. I am looking at the Meshroom S, which is sold out at the moment and it has a clearance of 336 length which is just about the max size that some 4090s can fit. 

What are your plans for this release? Skip, water block, bigger case? So much speculation as we wont know until tomorrow as some youtubers will be uploading some reviews.

4090 launch week and SFF Cases

I chose this case for its size and clean design. I like the ample air flow vents all around. I like the white color and the options to use or not use the 2 odd looking handles. I like the option to stick on the feet in a location that suits your build

A fair choice for a small PC build, but does have some drawbacks

I call this one “beauty”

This case is really unique due to its size, but I think the quality control needs some work. Mine came with a very low quality loose screwdriver at the top of the box which has the possibility to mar the finish on the case. I would have preferred to not get a screwdriver at all. A couple panels had some scratches and areas where the finish had been taken off, but these areas are covered by packaging so I don't understand how they have these marks at all, unless it came from the factory this way

 Also, the packaging for the sides of the case is not sufficient, as the box is incredibly thin and there is only a plastic wrap covering the sides.  My case isn't so bad that I would return it since it will be put into a backpack where I'm sure it will be scuffed anyway, but I might be disappointed if I were intending to leave this on my desk all the time.

Overall fun case to build in, but mine had some QC issues

As someone who stuffed a 5950X in a 5 Liter Case, I knew I had to get the best cooling possible. The Velkase Velka 5 can only fit coolers up to 37mm\* in height, so my cooling options were limited. With the Noctua L9A, running the fans any higher than 70% RPM was loud due to the turbulence issue. With that in mind, I set out to try a Metalfish Z39. This should prevent a lot of the turbulence issue I experienced; hopefully, better cooling.

I secured a Metalfish Z39 from /u/SFFNoir . They have custom black painted ones and they look sleek!

**Testing Methodology**

The same fan was used on both Noctua L9A and Metalfish Z39, Noctua A9x14 Chromax. The fan is set to 100% speed.  The ambient temperature of the room was 80 F or \~26.6 C (Thanks California).

I ran Cinebench C23 for 10 minutes, recorded its max temperature, all core boost speed, and C23 score. This was tested outside of the case.

**Thoughts**

So what does this tell me? Tells me that the Metalfish Z39 cooler is better than the Noctua L9A. I used the same thermal pad, same fan, ran it at the same RPM, and the ambient temperature is the same. I'm not sure if the cooler itself is graphene coated, but it is all black and sleek. 

Temperatures is significantly better, almost unbelievably so. What I suspect is also happening is that the heatsink, since it is now touching the side of the case, is basically expanded to the side of the case as well which gives it a lot more thermal room. 

What I can see through, is long term, these small coolers leave a lot of performance of the 5950X on the table. However, I am very satisfied with the cooler. Switching from Noctua L9A to Metalfish Z39 allowed me to gain 15-20% performance on the same chip while allowing it to run cooler. :)

2 SSD EVGA SuperNOVA 650W SFX PSU PowerColor RX 5600 XT Red Dragon  Pros: - Overall quality is not great, but good for the price - Solid / heavy steel construction - Front USB C connector - Minimalistic design - Small form factor  Cons: - NO assembly instructions whatsoever - Paint finish along edges can be better - Lots of additional stand-offs and screws are included, but I couldn't figure out where to use them due to lack of instructions. I ended up not needing most of them. - 2 carrying handles included are tacky and obstruct the minimalistic design of the case. I didn't use mine - Included taller white color feet attach to the case with double-sided adhesive

 You will have to apply more force than you're comfortable with to manage excess PSU cables. The temperature on CPU and GPU are almost the same as my previous NR200 setup which had 3 case fans. CPU - low 40C idle, max 70C GPU - 38C idle, max 68C Overall, I'm very satisfied with the finished build. If you're looking for a sub 10-liter SFF case, I highly recommend this one

I'd like to go for air cooled, keep it portable and not to compromise on GPU....

 My thoughts are on the IQUNIX ZK-1, AKLLA A4 and even an a4h2o without the h2o part....

K49 almost perfect travel case

I have to suggest Velka for both size and sturdiness. Since you are traveling with it Velka is the strongest case structurally being stainless steel instead of alumnium for the side panels AND a 3MM thick alumnium panel the case is extremely rigid.

I'm looking for an ITX case for gaming. I travel a lot for work, so it needs to compact enough to take on as cabin luggage. I came across [this video from 2020](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo8T81nuLFM), there are a few that seem like they would fit the bill.
