ViewSonic VX3258-2KC-MHD 32" Curved Gaming Monitor ✅ (Review)

viewsonic vx3258-2kpc-mhd, a pretty good option in the market if you want to go big with the purchase (400-450 in dollars i think?) but it comes with 32', 144hz refresh rate, 1800 curve and a nice 1440p resolution. Honestly depends on the country but this was the best 1440p 144hz option available here.

I’m not a gamer and know next to nothing about PCs, but my husband has been using my tiny college desk and an old monitor forever, so I want to surprise him with a new desk and monitors. He’s not a super picky guy, I know he wants 144hz and a longer curved screen. Some recommendations that won’t break the bank would be greatly appreciated, or just specs on what to go for would be great too!

3 deliveries, 2 replacements until I got this monitor without a dead pixel

Nice looking monitor. Shows ghosting and image blur.

 This does not work for me as I need the computer to be on and responsive even when I am heading to bed and I don't want the screen to shine like the sun as I try to sleep.

  Easy to navigate menu system with "joystick" style on back right side.  CON's No Vesa Mount, no rotation, only very limited tilt up/down.  Dead pixels on arrival picture below this appears to be more than one and is very obvious I hadn't even started looking for them when I saw the black spot on a web browser.  VERY poor response time

The 144hz had partially fooled me into thinking this would be a a "gaming" monitor with very low sub 4 ms response time

Response time default is 22ms (Overclock to 5ms)

 I like curved screens and this size is really perfect for on the desk about 2-3 feet away. (Industry max for this resolution) i'd get the 34" 1440p which is likely most ideal but its 50% more expensive at this time.  - : came with one dead pixel (i got over it, only visible on white screen) this is definitely the biggest you can go on 1080p. pixels with text are noticiable but not totally fine

  + : Slim, sleek, minimal bezel, relatively compact and sturdy metal stand that can get monitor close to the wall, (no mount?) lots of flexible customizable (color, bright, preset, fps, etc) options. Relatively friendly user menu/button. I like curved screens and this size is really perfect for on the desk about 2-3 feet away.
