 Yes, indeed. This does have E-arc kind of need that for the Dolby, Atmos and Dtsx, so that's really impressive at this price point. On the back of the surround speakers, you'll find an Rca port. that's how it connects to the subwoofer, which gets the surround signal wirelessly

 It is especially apparent in material that contains sudden bursts of sounds, like guns or explosions, but once I hear it, I start noticing it everywhere. For example, the ambient noise in a movie, like night time crickets, will become almost nonexistent during dialog and then slowly fade back in if the dialog stops for a second or two. It sounds like heavy mix bus compression with a slow release.  I hear it often enough to believe it's the speaker processing the audio and not compression done at the studio

 It's got some great low end, and a nice stereo spread. You'd do well with a sub because the low end isn't dialed in tight, but it's definitely an upgrade from TV speakers or the computer desktop speakers we were using before.

 This may be an attempt to control output volume, perhaps create a perceived loudness increase. I have checked the settings and turned off any automatic volume balancing algorithms and it still does it.  Most people won't notice it, but if you're prone to fixate on sounds like I am, it may drive you a little crazy sometimes, especially when you're trying to relax and enjoy a movie.  Other than that, it's pretty good

 Um, which is just like I heard some amazing things and I've done multiple you know, reviews on like, uh, actually, there's really no video, no unboxing or no video about this one on Youtube so I'll probably be one of the first ones to do it. Um, I think this is a 20, either 2020 or 2021 model and then, um, with that also being said, like there's the H6, has plenty of reviews if you look it up, so there's a lot. but I don't think for the J6 there's a lot.  I'm gonna do reviewing and um open box in the Vizio 5.1 M series. Uh, Sound Bar It is the let me show you which model this is. It is the M5 one ax, the J6 model

 Everything looks nice, looks good, especially when I get those stands. Um, everything just seems to be perfect and put it in place. Um so yeah with the whole uh how can I put this, um the like the the channels, you'll think that you know if you have more channels or create a better sound. But actually this thing plays a little trick where it makes it seem like it's bouncing off the ceilings and bouncing off the walls and stuff like that

 Not sure if it's something that I'm doing or not doing that's causing this but yeah. When connecting through Bluetooth with my phone its generally fine. I would give 'value for money' a five star but I paid about $145usd in shipping (could have saved so much if amazon australia had it) even though all together its not too bad compared to what I would have to pay here in NZ for a similar product.

There is definitely a difference between my standard tv speaker quality and this sound bar. The sound is much less grainy and bass/effects is wayy better when watching movies but I would say dialogue is average. One annoying issue I had is with the connectivity. I quite regularly have to restart my tv for the sound bar to connect to my tv when I turn my tv on again after a session of use

 you know, what you're actually going to plug it into so you can see. We have a lot of cables for all the different type of audio connections you're going to use. Mainly, the one you want to use for your audio connection is the Hdmi Arc. If you have that, if you don't have Hdmi Arc, then you're going to want to use your uh, optical cable

 So although the subwoofer is wireless from the sound bar, it does require a cable to plug into a power source so you can put it anywhere in the room as long as it's plugged into a power source. So next we have the surround speakers and what the surround speakers actually plug into is the subwoofer itself. So you'll have to position the subwoofer uh, you know, near your couch or wherever you're sitting so that you can actually put the surround speakers behind you to get the proper surround sound so you can see. All the speakers have a pretty low profile look with just being blacked out so you can actually link up your voice assistant as well to the sound bar

 Mainly, the one you want to use for your audio connection is the Hdmi Arc. If you have that, if you don't have Hdmi Arc, then you're going to want to use your uh, optical cable. So you're going to have your subwoofer, the two surround speakers, and then your one sound bar that comes in the box. So some features: The soundbar has actually has Dolby Atmos, which I don't really know how because it's not really a top channel speaker so I don't really know how you get the audio above you

 uh compared to a 2.1 sound system. So when shopping I didn't really see anything like around this price range for a 5.1 sound system that had really good reviews

 The sub is punchy enough despite being small and everything was extremely easy to connect.  Highly recommend, especially if you don't want to spend $1k for an audio setup. For me, this $400 was went spent for a 5.1

I picked this up to add to my man cave / man patio knowing I wanted a soundbar in the room with the desire for dolby atmos.  I'm a fan of vizio audio and have a different setup in my family room which I really like. This set compares very well to that one.  The sound may need some tweaking to your liking, however it does sound good (very good)
