By the way, this is the second generation of the original Kidizoom watch, first introduced in 2014.  RECOMMEND: Buy as a child’s first smart watch, age 4+ or a gadget person. UPDATE 9/24/2020 I’m still wearing the watch as a backup to my regular smartwatch. It needs only a single charge nearly every four weeks. I use the time keeping function, camera/camcorder, voice memos, & some related items

 She likes that it’s pink and we “match” when I wear my apple watch. I was concerned based on previous reviews in terms of durability, but we’ve had it for over two months and it’s completely fine. I also got one for my 9 year old, but he said the games were too baby for him. I wish there was a way for them to use the pedometer throughout the day without having the app open, but it’s a great toy for them to learn to take care of
