 They've got a heck of a deal at one in Costco right now I'm not so big a fan of the Q3200. It seems a little big bulky. I'm not not quite right I just don't like it. What I went out and bought was the Weber Traveler It's a little bit bigger than the Q2200 real pretty grill real portable I love I'll make a video about that guy in a little bit here But in the meantime bottom line on the Weber Q1200 Wonderful grill grill this little heart out is just not quite big enough for what I needed to do It's alright

 Let's go Here's the Weber Q1200 along with a few extra accessories They walk through the some of the important stuff on this grill first off the the construction The top is aluminum. The body is a rigid plastic It's a nice combination. This grill is never gonna rust. That's pretty nice feature Inside you've got a real heavy-duty cast-iron grate

 Then you're gonna run out propane Those little tanks are expensive. I hate throwing them in the landfill. I mean, you're not supposed to throw them in the landfill I hate taking them to the proper recycling center. How about that? So upgrading to the that little propane adapter hose

Reliable Portable Gas BBQ

Q2000 Portable Grill.

 You can pick the grill up and move it around with the bottle, which is really nice. After you're done grilling, you want to make sure the grill is totally cool, because you don't want to put your plastic table on a hot grill. Of course it's plastic, it'll melt. So always make sure it's nice and cooled off

 But here's something really nice, guys. The bottle's on there, if I want to move the grill, it's not hanging off by some flimsy little thing. You can pick the grill up and move it around with the bottle, which is really nice. After you're done grilling, you want to make sure the grill is totally cool, because you don't want to put your plastic table on a hot grill

 When you're a grill master, you need a lot of room to grill, and there you have it. Two little tables on each side of the grill really come in handy. These are the porcelain enamel cast iron grates, and as you can see, they come real clean. I just put them in the sink for a little bit, let them soak, and then they just wipe clean

Let’s face it, they suck at searing.  Aside from giving steaks a shitty tier, you risk a grease fire, particularly when you go from low/medium to high in 15 mins.

So here is what I recommend to get a proper sear on your favorite foods

1. Use a cast iron on your stove inside.  You can get to super high temps while also providing an even sear across your meats.  I recommend using an oil that can handle high heat like avocado oils.

2. Get a small propane grill.  Those are fucking awesome at high heat and you can do everything outdoors if that is your preference.

Edit: The purpose of a sear is to get direct high heat source to the surface facing the heat. With a cast iron on the stove or a propane style grill, that high heat is directly concentrated on the bottom surface of the meat, thus providing a sear. With a pellet grill, the heat is like a convection oven which circulates and does not provide that direct to bottom surface heat source.

PSA: Stop attempting to “sear” on your traeger. They are not equipped to do so and even when you get it to 500 degrees, it provides a shit tier sear.
