 Okay, Google turn on Wise Plug. Sure! turning on Wise Plug and you can see that our Wise Plug turned on with our voice command. Now you can also turn it on or off manually with the little button on the side of the device. Now, I haven't had any issues with this plug over the last year

 So I'm going to go ahead and tap on it again and the light switch turns off remotely. Now you can also use this with Google Home or Alexa voice command, so let's test that out. Okay, Google turn on Wise Plug. Sure! turning on Wise Plug and you can see that our Wise Plug turned on with our voice command

 It stayed connected to my Wi-fi network and it was easy to control from the phone and it's always been responsive with my Alexa and or Google Home voice commands. Now one thing to note when you are setting this up is that it does take 2.4 gigahertz Wi-fi networks or it requires 2.4 gigahertz Wi-fi networks for setups

Wyze Smart Plug Review (1 Year Later)

 Wyze  Outdoor Cam - DON'T BUY IT - They worked for a little bit but now the base won't recognize cameras. The app keeps asking me to place the cameras closer when they are cm apart.

Bought 4, One stopped working. Not sure I want more.

 Not only will we have some status here kind of metrics to report, but it looks like we can set up a timer so that you can have some things automated, have a turn off. maybe you're doing a party or something you don't want to forget. You can go into a vacation mode here which looks like it will just kind of randomly turn it on and off and then up here this little gear it looks like what I can do is turn off the status light even which is kind of nice if you don't want any ambient lights. but I can also go here to schedules in automation and I can create rules which is kind of nice because then I think you can use Siri voice control Alexa those types of things

 So I'm gonna call this one attic and it set up Successful! Alright so I'm gonna finish here and now I have a smart plug called Addict now from an LED light bulb right here and I'm gonna go ahead and plug it into the outlet just like this. There we go. Alright so I've got the outlet connected the light bulb and I'm gonna go ahead and hit it says off right there. So I'm gonna hit tap it and look at that the light bulb comes on and I bet if I tap the on button to go off, it's gonna go off and on and off

 So I'm gonna go ahead and connect to that and so now I'm connected to that and I'm gonna go back to the app and it says it is trying to connect and didn't need the full countdown. It found it. So I'm gonna call this one attic and it set up Successful! Alright so I'm gonna finish here and now I have a smart plug called Addict now from an LED light bulb right here and I'm gonna go ahead and plug it into the outlet just like this. There we go

I have four Meross smart plug minis as well as their outdoor plug. These have been some of my most consistent plugs. I have had little or no issue with all of them. While I’ve only had them 1

A few months back I decided to try out Meross light bulbs.  They were cheap and looked perfect for a few closets I needed lit.  Took me an hour before I finally got it to sync with HomeKit.  After a day, someone accidentally flipped the light switch and they cannot be re-paired with HK.  “Accessory not found” or “accessory already added to HomeKit” messages are endless.  

Tried adding to a Meross app , that worked, but still no luck with HK.  I returned the lights.

Tried once again last week - this time with Meross Msart plugs.  Same exact thing - except this time, I added it to HK without any problems.  Woke up after one day and HK constantly updating.  Tried removing from HK to re-pair but then got the same exact error messages as the light bulbs.  

This is my last attempt to try and get these things to work.  Any of you have similar experiences? Or have any of you overcome this setback with any tips? Should I just stop using this brand since it seems pretty half baked? How do these things even pass HK standards like this?
