 I have tried multiple ports with multiple cables, but have had this issue on every single unit they have sent me (Also to be fair, XGIMI's customer service was out-of-this-world responsive and helpful. Kudos to them). The only remedy is to restart the machine, which then involves a couple minutes and multiple controllers. It's not the end of the world, but for a $2500 machine, I would expect better

Hello, I've been using a trust 1080p ultra short throw projector for many years now, in different living spaces.

My CURRENT living space allows me to make an 83 inch screen. When I look at the 4K options out there, they mostly advertise their 100 inch screen capabilities, it isn't clear if I can just move the project closer to the wall for an 83 inch screen. This is confounding my analysis paralysis on what to get/try.

I love the portability though, if I'm doing an art project or event, I can easily just pick up the projector and move it to another part of the house. If I move, I can take the projector with me easily without bothering with a cumbersome TV.

So I've seen a variety of products, but does the math work for all UST projectors? Just move it closer, refocus in software or on a dial, and use my 83 inch space as before, just in 4k?

also I'm lukewarm on getting a motorized screen, but I honestly just feel like I would buy a TV instead of doing that.

and I have my own sound system.

and any lumens above 1,000 would be an upgrade for me.

with all that in mind, what 4K UST projectors should I get?

I'd like to get a 4K UHD display that an Xbox Series X can use.

I'm curious as to the recommendation you folks would have on a display to use here.

I was thinking of painting the wall itself with that paint you can use as a projection screen and having a projector aimed at it, this also has the added benefit of meaning that the closet door can't open into the TV screen and wreck it.

The budget's kind of open ended, so I'm open to a "Good, better, best" type of thing.

Ultimately I want something that a Series X would look amazing on, as well as any TV/movie content as well.

The bigger the better, but I don't want to hurt my neck.

My thinking was like an IMAX in a room at home or something.

There aren't many reviews around for the LS110000, so I'm curious, just from the perspective of someone who has a large room with beige walls, but who can control the light somewhat well during the day (but whose girlfriend may not want to ... ), which of these is the best option?

From a pure light controlled room (with beige walls) perspective, which should have the best picture (I'm especially interested in HDR color and blacks).

Is there another sub-$4,000 option I'm missing (and yes, the LSP9T is down below $4k some spots now)? Oh, and I'm fairly RBE sensitive, but can get over it if the picture quality is superior.
