My dad is coming off an iphone 6s having broken the screen too many times at work and now it stopped having service.

I live in the middle east so most chinese brands are available.
Need a phone thats faster than the 6s, and a bigger screen.
Will mostly be used for Calling, WhatsApp and playing a few card games.

Was thinking about the Samsung galaxy A12 or poco M3.

Hey first of all, we are there to help you buy your next phone so don't hesitate to ask at all. So for your needs and budget I would say get the Oneplus Nord CE, it does have a headphone jack (earphone port)  and it's a 2021 release in your budget. The software one OnePlus devices are clean. On the Nord you get a mediatek chip which is inferior to the usual qualcomm snapdragon but it can handle day to day tasks. I would say that the camera is pretty decent for its price. But for just basic day to day usage I think that this phone is the best for you in my opinion and in you budget.   


The Nord 2 is great and in your budget (its better), but no headphone jack  


The N10 and N100 are thrash idk why OnePlus launched them ;-;  


The Samsung A52s meets your requirements, except that its a Samsung (P.S it has a headphone Jack!)  


Poco phones I'd say look great on the outside, like small price but lot of stuff, but I would say long term spending an extra 100 pounds is worth it for the other phones I have mentioned above.

You could go for the older Nord which has a better processor and camera, I aint sure if it has a headphone jack but its a year old and there are disadvantages with gatting an old phone

The mi 11 lite is really good for its price (just saw that its in sale for 305 pounds) and it apparently comes with a usb-c to 3.5mm headphone jack converter so you can connect you earphone but you cant charge your phone simultaneously while doing so. Oh yh it has a good processor and decent camera.  


I think you should take your time and evaluate your needs so that you can come to a better decision, as you can see there are a lot of options but its upto to u what exactly do you prefer more, performance, camera, speakers, screen, software, external build, etc.

I had the same problem with a samsung note. Very annoying. I like Poco on paper- you could take a look at the POCO X3 Pro. I considered it when I was looking around due to the top tier processor for the price, but I was a bit turned off by camera reviews and I do not know what they were thinking with the design--poco basically sprawling the back.

This question has been asked hundreds of times... 
I live in the UK.

Currently I own a Samsung phone.
It's a good phone, but, like one of my Samsung phones a few years ago, the charging port is playing up.  Samsung.. never again.

My last phone was a Huawei. 
In three and half years of owning this phone I had no problems with it. Nothing. The only reason I didn't have another one was the Google/Playstore debacle.

I was seriously looking at Xiaomi brand but they don't have a dedicated earphone port.
My music is important to me.
I am looking at another Chinese brand Poco.
But this is, to me, more of a gamers phone?

I just want a talk/text/internet/listening to music phone. Budget £300-£400 max
That's all I want?
