What I want to do is take the driver's side bolt plate and bring it over and align it with the hole on the underside and with that one installed I'll do the opposite side

 Okay so we'll slide the bolt plates into place and we'll just move those towards the center of the track on the underside and then we can reinstall the end cap. Again the tools provided for all these all these fasteners. Okay I'm gonna go ahead and hop in the truck bed. What we'll want to do here again you'll notice similar to the uprights where it has the the incremental measurements we also have incremental measurements on the underside of the bar and that will help us to center the bar

While the matte black finish is nice looking, the installation and adjustments of the rack are difficult at best. This was purchased for the name as a multi-use rack. If you want to raise or lower the rack, you have to nearly remove the crossbars to do it, as the angle makes the height adjustment impossible without it. Not a great design

 Really nice and sturdy, so I'm working with a wedge rooftop tent here and I wanted to run it up and above the cab. I had a soft shell rooftop tent and I had it just on stainless steel bars across the back and I lost all of my bed functionality. I lost the view out of my back window, so this is really nice for me. Very modular, so I like to get outside, I like to do a lot

 If you want to keep it static and run it a little bit lower, you're looking at the outpost, all the same features, it's just on a fixed height. So thanks for taking a look and hope this helps a little bit.

read the description carefully, I misunderstood what the cross bars were, I thought they were the bars that connected the two racks together, never would I have ever expected that they would only sell the uprights as a package, that is not a rack, a rack would be the uprights and crossbars, extremely overpriced, $750.00 for the uprights and crossbars together was pushing it as far as I am concerned, I was stuck with the uprights so I had to bite the bullet and buy the crossbars..

It's about $110 so it's a little unfortunate but one of the other primary reasons that I chose this amongst the other ones that I'll describe later is that one, it's easily removable, it's adjustable, and it locks to the truck. Now before we get started, there's a few disclaimers to take into consideration. One of those is if you look on purchasing sites such as Amazon, you're going to see a lot of people who give the product a low review one or two stars

 There's a T-channel on top of the top rails with a rubber grommet in it that you would have to remove to mount various other things in there and then cut it to your desired length. One of the other pros and one of the main reasons why I chose this is that it can haul a lot of weight. Its static weight while it's sitting here is 800 pounds. Its regular road weight while you're driving down a regular highway is 500 pounds and its off-road weight is 300 pounds

 You can see here I have my recovery board mounts. They also come with load mounts, load stop mounts, eye bolts, roller mounts for ladders and lumber.
