I'm considering water bottle options that I hope will last me at least a decade, and I have a few general criteria.

**Volume**: I'd prefer something at least 32 oz but preferably closer to 64. Maybe this is unreasonable. I just don't want to refill it all the time. Fill it once at the beginning of each day and sip throughout, preferably. I want something that I can use without having to come back to a source of water all the time, whether that be for a typical day of college, a long hike, a camping trip, etc.

**Size / Shape**: I want something manageable, ideally that I could grasp onto well with one (decently large) hand. Fitting in a cupholder would be nice, but with the volume I want, I get if that's impossible.

**Material**: Metal or plastic, I guess. The plastic option is Nalgene, and the metal one is everything else, leaning toward Klean Kanteen. I like Nalgene water bottles, their durability and look and low weight and see-throughness, but metal water bottles keep liquids insulated while not sweating. Especially the weight on metal bottles seems like a major downside, but idk. Give me more input on this.

**Extra Features**: I'm not aware of many extra features besides insulation, specific to metal bottles like hydroflasks or klean kanteen. I don't care about a bottle filter, and I don't want a straw going down the bottle at all. What are some things I should be aware of?

Best Water Bottle For Me?

 The outer cap, on the other hand, is disappointing. My original chug cap only lasted 3 months because the soft plastic threads of the outer cap wore down, completely removing the bottle's functionality. If the cap won't stay on enough to stop spills, it certainly won't be secure enough to keep drinks cold. It's disappointing because when the rambler with the chug cap is working, it's a great insulated water bottle for long work days, but because of this one unfortunate design choice it can suddenly fail at its one designed purpose

The construction of the inner cap is very good. Easy to drink from, easy to refill, nice and sturdy. The outer cap, on the other hand, is disappointing.  It was surprisingly easy to get a replacement, for which I'm grateful, but it's still upsetting that I needed a cap replacement at all.

 All you're going to do is you're going to take the cap that comes with it off and get rid of that. And you're going to take the chug part, screw it in, all right, nice and tight. And now you've got a bottle that has a chug cap on that you can drink out of. And then when you want to close it up, you're just going to put that in there, tighten it down and you're good to go

 Hello everyone, this is just a dad. Today I'm going to do a review on this Yeti 36 ounce, they call it the Rambler. It's stainless steel. I really like the look and the feel of it

 There's what the inside looks like. Again, just very well made. The cap even has an o-ring on here and here. So it definitely seals when you're going to close it
