 So if you have the original black opium, if you have a few flankers and you're wondering if this is a must have, super different that you need to add it to your collection, I'm going to stick with the original black opium. I would say to pick up a travel one and just have a little bit of fun with it, see how you feel about it. But I don't feel like it is a super unique fragrance where I would say you have to run and pick up this full bottle

 I just love to click on what's new and just get ideas for things that I can review for you guys. So when it comes to the Black OPM Elicit Green, I kind of knew from the start that I was not going to purchase a full-size bottle of it because I have been dying to get the Black OPM Extreme, which I only have in travel size. And I've kind of telling myself to just use up the travel size and then I get the full size. So when I saw the release, I told myself, I don't think this is one that I need a full bottle of, but I was still curious because the notes, there was Fig in there and Fig can make a fragrant smell absolutely amazing or I can have a problem with it

 So I love Nuit Blanche because it does give that liptonic creamy vibe. So if I had to choose between the original black opium and Alisa Green, I would probably go with Alisa Green just because of that smoothed out effect that it's giving because the florals to me tend to give me headaches on certain days. So I have to be careful. The original black opium tends to dry down emphasizing on the florals after you get that kick of a little bit of coffee

 I don't really feel like this is, this is maybe one that I would get if I didn't own any black opium at all. And I wanted to start with black opium and I kind of liked that little bit of freshness that it has, but it's literally in the opening only. Like when you first spray it, I really love the opening. It does have like this fresh, almost like airy type of opening to it with a little bit of tiny little bit of fig, when I really have to look for the fig

 And I do get that in the way dry down. So the dry down is my favorite part of this scent for sure, mostly because because of that milky, creamy, milky vanilla note in here that mixes in with the coffee. And then it feels like you're, you know, coffee. Well, in Dutch it's called koffieverkeerd, where there's more milk than coffee in the coffee

 Well, because I think that without picking apart the scent too much, like if I was just wearing it and I wasn't actually, you know, sniffing it all the time, then I think that most people would say that this is quite similar to the original black opium. Actually, it did remind me a lot of the black opium neon as well because of that fruity sweetness. So for me, I think it's a bit redundant to own. It's not that different from the original and some other flankers in here

 It's one of my most worn this year for sure. But this is a pleasant scent, very, very pleasant. If you are collector, I'm pretty sure you would like this. If you like the original black opium DNA, you would probably like this as well

 And also something happens. And this is my most favorite part of this fragrance when I wore it. And it started to get milky. This lactonic note started to come forward

 Now, I have the original on my left, and on my skin, the original definitely goes more floral. Now, this is not a fragrance I use. In fact, it's my sister's fragrance, and on her, she definitely smells like spicy a little bit with some coffee. I don't know if it's like a peppery kind of spice, but yeah, it's like this spicy, sweet sort of smell on her, and I really like it

 And in the very beginning, it really, it was mainly that coffee vanilla, right? But then right now, it's been maybe about 15, 20 minutes. It smells like a green cocktail I had back when I was 21. You know, I don't know if it's a Midori or not. It's not a sour green cocktail, but it's like a sweet, flirty green cocktail

 I'm gonna be totally honest, and this isn't paid, okay? But let me just tell you that this fragrance on my skin definitely smells more heavy with the coffee and vanilla. I have the other two fragrances in this hand, but I sprayed it on this wrist. And in the very beginning, it really, it was mainly that coffee vanilla, right? On me, this goes a bit floral, so it's not my favorite, but in terms of versatility, I find this one to be more versatile than Elicit Green, just based on freshness, because I live in a warm area, so wearing things that are sweet all the time is just a no-go, but the fact that this has some, the florals are more prominent on my skin is the only reason why I say it's more versatile, but if you had to ask me what my favorite scent was between the three of these, to be straight up, the Xtreme, and the reason I like the Xtreme is because, yes, it has the coffee, which is in the forefront of the fragrance. With the original, the coffee isn't there as much on me, but with the Xtreme, I get coffee and this boozy bourbon vanilla that is just really intoxicating

YSL Black Opium Illicit Green vs. Extreme vs. The Original

 There is an undertone of like an ivy green, but it's an undertone. The main things I'm getting in the dry down are the jasmine and orange blossom, the vanilla, patchouli, the coffee. So I think my overall impression of it is that it's just as good, it's just as strong as the original. They're both pretty strong, good for lasting

 To be honest with you, I find it very similar to the original. So I have the original and this one on different wrists. And for sure, when you first spray it, they smell almost identical, I'd say 90% the same. And then as it fades down, again, very, very similar, I'd say that elicit green has a slightly fruitier feel to it

 Black Opium Extreme came out just before Christmas, which was like a more intense coffee take on the original. The original, if you're not that familiar with it, is a strong, sexy vanilla coffee latte with a orange blossom underneath. It's really good for lasting. It's, for me, like a going out party type fragrance

 So maybe the elicit green is slightly less licorice-y, slightly less like sweet and slightly less warm, but I'm talking maybe like five, 10% difference. And then where the original has a pink pepper top note along with pear, elicit green has the pear, but it also has a fig leaf and it also has fig alongside a mandarin orange. So fig is actually a fragrance note that I really love. It's a very warm autumnal fruity scent, kind of like a plum
