Zildjian A Custom Cymbal Pack - Should I buy it? Let's See!!

In terms of price, the closest Zildjian equivalent would be their S series, but those are b12 alloy and are going to sound a lot more bright. The Sabian XSR’s are b20 alloy, thus not as clangy. They’re highest end intermediate before getting into the lower end professional cymbals serieslike the Zildjian A/A Custom and Sabian AA/AAX.

Can anyone identify this Sabian hat and its Zildjian equivalent. It came with a Pearl Export kit. Not familiar with Sabians so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Great cymbals with modern

 The bass drum and the cymbals sound terrible. The room I play in has very bad acoustics but the tuning should be good. The cymbals produce a metal clangy sound and the hi-hat sounds dead when closed.

  Hats: Hats sound good, but not great. Very crisp response but a bit high pitched. You won't find the darkness or depth of color that the other series of cymbals exhibit. Great for metal, rock and funk, but not a great fit for darker/softer styles

What drum sets do you guys use?

 In my opinion they could stand to push a bit more volume live only at certain times, but the tone makes me forgive that and be fine with adjusting my playing a bit when needed. All I can go by for real is what other musicians have said after hearing them out front the first time they were used live. Clarity was mentioned a lot, both crashes. Balanced was mentioned too

Great cymbal set.

Like my drumset? I'm only 14 and I've been playing since september 2020

I love the other cymbals but the ride needs a deeper bell tone. It just doesn't cut through like I'd like it to. It's okay but not awesome.  Edit: If I use the thicker part of the drumstick an inch to 2 inches above the tip to hit the bell, it sounds much better (to me)

4 Tops because the bell tone on the ride is kinda weak sauce

I'm in the market for new cymbals, I'm looking for cymbals that are good for a fast styles of playing like hard rock, surf rock, funk styles of playing like that, I'm mainly just looking for suggested brands, or cymbal packs, I know there are a lot of specifics when it comes to cymbals and I have no idea what alot of them mean so I was hoping some more experienced people on this sub could help me with this, I'm just looking for a basic high hat, ride, and crash not in the market for effect cymbals right now.
