I replaced an Alienware AW3418DW Ultra-Wide 3440X1440 that was my main gaming monitor. I needed a smaller monitor & less-wide due to my aging boomer eyes myopia causing dizziness with the ultrawide in games. 27" 1440p was still a little too big, and yes, I tested with my cheapo MSI 24" 1080p monitor which cured it.

I have been looking to purchase a 27" 1440p monitor for both gaming and working to pair with 3060ti. I was about to get Gigabyte M27Q due its KVM (both for gaming rig and work laptop) and rtings score but i just Heard the way It deals with rbg or something so It is not suitable for work due blurriness with letters, is that terrible? Should i maybe look for the LG 850 model recommended here?

Great product, however to compensate the 200hz Asus used TN panel. The dramatic color accuracy difference made me part with this and went for Alienware’s AW3420DW with IPS panel @120hz for $1000 cheaper As well.

As for color, I kept both monitors at the default color settings out of the box - the Dell had great saturation, possibly oversaturated. The M27Q appears less saturated, and its overall color out of the box appears more neutral, while the Dell appeared warm. Regardless of which you prefer, both monitors' color can be adjusted. However, no amount of calibration can fix the Dell's low contrast ability; the M27Q wipes the floor with the S2721DGF in this respect
