 So I love to go through ingredients lists and tell you whether or not a product is good for us

 So with skin of colour, we just need to be a little bit more careful with our skin.

 We have larger melanocytes and they are easier to trigger.

 So for us, one scratch, one bite or one burn and we tend to hyper pigment.

 So today's video has been requested a lot and this is a vein.

 So I've gone through as many products as I can to tell you which ones I would purchase and which ones I would sidestep.

 However, it does have fragrance in it, so I would probably avoid this product.

 However, it does have citriol alcohol and onycerabenous oil, which is two out of five on the comedogenic scale.

 So it's fine if you've got normal to dry skin.

 It's just if you've got oily acne prone skin, you might want to sidestep that product.

 The next product I was very impressed with, and this is Retinol 0.1.

 It's excellent. So it basically has been formulated with retinaldehyde.

 Retinaldehyde is 20 times as effective as retinol, but with no irritation.

 It's my absolute favorite form of vitamin A, the skin of color.

 I formulate with retinaldehyde for this reason.

 The thing is retinaldehyde is extremely expensive.

 So this product, when I first saw the price tag, it was $70.

 And that's before I actually looked at the ingredients and I thought it was very steep, but actually it's retinaldehyde.

 What I would say with this product, the reasons I love it is obviously the it's got my favorite form of vitamin A in it.

 It's also got no fragrance in it, no denatured alcohol, which I love too.

 But it's also important to note this particular product has no other actives in it.

 So it really is just a vitamin A product, which I absolutely love.

 And I would definitely tell you to purchase, but it is expensive.

 So the next product is Tolerance Extreme Lotion.

 It's very hydrating. It has no fragrance in it, but it doesn't have any surfactants in it either or very gentle surfactants.

 It's going to be hard to remove your sunscreen and makeup.

 I'm not a huge fan of this particular product for that reason.

 I'm the type of person who tends to layer on the sunscreen all day long.

 And you really do want a surfactant that's going to remove all that oil based dirt and also the water based dirt.

 So although I like the product itself and I like the ingredients,

 I just don't know if it's going to be enough for people who are layering sunscreen on all day long.

 So the next product is Tolerance Extreme Cream.
