It does stay warm for about an hour but the machine isn’t cheap so hate to have to put my coffee in a microwave to heat it up if it has been brewed within the hour. Like the Machine, Carafe Not So Much!

 I did end up buying a gold filter and a separate thermal carafe for those days when needed, although we usually drink the full carafe pretty quickly. Even with the purchase of the thermal carafe and gold filter, the price tag on this is still significantly less than the Keurig. I didn't need to place this beneath a cabinet, so that issue wasn't significant for me. If you need yours beneath a cabinet, I would probably recommend the Keurig

Keurig K-Duo Plus vs Hamilton Beach FlexBrew

I bought this coffee maker due to the design and flexibility of being able to brew a pot of coffee. The coffee tastes great, in fact better than any of the other Keurig’s I owned (4 over the years) however I like my coffee hot and this machine misses the mark. I don’t feel that I should have to microwave my coffee 5 minutes after it’s brewed. Very disappointed the temperature adjustment feature was removed

Sleek design but lacks in a few areas for the cost

After just 3 months of light use, the unit wouldn't turn on anymore. I figured we were just out of luck unless we wanted to spend $30 to ship back the dead one. However, after contacting Keurig directly, it was a fairly simple process to get a replacement unit delivered to us without shipping back the dead unit, so instead of giving this coffee maker 1 or 2 stars, I'm giving it 4 stars. It is actually a great double unit, and Keurig's stellar customer service makes it a great deal

 I love how this comes with a thermal carafe which keeps the coffee hot for hours, and the flavor is incredible. Being a thermal carafe, there’s no need for a warming tray that can cause coffee to become bitter.  It’s so simple to use and I can make a single cup with a k-cup if I choose, or an entire pot. This machine is so easy to clean, brew, and work with no confusion at all

 I researched everything I could find on the Keurig k-duo Plus and took the plunge. I am beyond thrilled!  It arrived today, I did the one time cleansing brew, and I am now in coffee heaven. Blown Away by This Jeurig

 Brewer did finally arrive a couple of days later after touring several logistics hubs across the state. I mean I could have driven the 400 mile round trip to pick it up faster but whatever. The brewer arrived very well packed and not only is it awesome but also well worth the wait (I can say this now with a mug of coffee in hand). It’s very simple to set up, easy to use, makes less noise than my old duo and makes great coffee by the pot or mug

 Very happy with purchase; still chuckling over how my bundle of caffeine happiness got here.
